Update on the ongoing taxonomy saga - just got a response from NCBI on email sent at the end of August, with the accession number for genome submission which wasn't what the message was about... Normally conversation with NCBI's pretty efficient, not sure what's happening here.

Question for #taxonomy #microbiology. I recently sequenced a microbe and found its taxonomy is associated with wrong genus. The genome submission to NCBI is currently suppressed since automated checker is expecting species that doesn't exist (that belongs to the wrong genus) 1/n
