Hey everyone, we know we've been a little quiet out here - but, as we get closer to the mid-Season 2 update, we wanted to take a chance to get the ball rolling again. Later this week we'll be sharing a blog covering some of the mid-Season 2 updates, including balance changes, details on Vault Breaker, a few much-needed weapon adjustments, and details on a buff to Cradle progression. (This blog is just a preview, and we'll have the full list of patch notes the morning of July 21st.) But, in the meantime, our ear is to the ground. We want to know what you're feeling. Just died to a team of 4 RAGE hackers on brand new accounts protecting another team of hackers with 1 level 1000 on the team who had paid them to protect them for his nuke. This was the game after dying to 4 level 1000 accounts all aimbotting. Please tell me again that the anti cheat is working @CallofDutyCM Not even tryna hate just looking for some help/ recognition of how bad it is right now :(

In Qualifier #1 of my HusKerrs Howl tournament, I poorly handled a situation in which my teammate Hisoka was blatantly streamsniped multiple times, causing us to lose that map. The match was reset due to this, even though the rule book at the time stated no resets for streamsniping. I unfortunately did not realize this was the ruling, as it was copied over from my last tournament a year ago. Had I known, I would have had the rule amended before the tournament began to include resets for blatant streamsniping, as this is pretty standard in most 2v2 tournaments. Because of this, @zGhoullll and @Jayvela_ ended up losing the map and a spot in the finals tomorrow. I would like to apologize to them both for mishandling this. After speaking with them privately to make things right, I will be giving them a spot in the finals tomorrow and personally paying them the 1st place qualifier prize since they never had the chance to make it that far in the qualifier.

Only lasted 5 hours of streaming today. I got aimbotted all but one game of Warzone solos. Best part about it is whether they were rage hacking or only had a few kills they were able to play out every single game to completion. How there's no system in place to remove someone by the time a game ends that is dropping 20+ kills of prefiring headshot only is truly mindblowing. I don't think I've ever seen such a nonexistent anticheat in Warzone's history.

@JennDinKC Never should have went with Save it was always a scam. If you would have picked PAYE you wouldn't have that issue...

Haven’t really commented on the situation yet, partially cause it was expected, but everything is just really really sad. Seeing the game I loved for 12 years ending in such an abrupt way with devs being laid off before they can even fix the latest bugs is just unexcusable.

Several of us in QA were still reproing the Seraphs shield and DSC elevator crashes on different consoles/framerates late into Weds night, with a goal of verifying the fix on our dev kits Thursday. Little did we know we wouldn’t get to verify it as we were all swept up in the layoffs. 🥺 It was an honor/bittersweet to close out D2 as MoT QA lead of the Immortal title triumphs and vendors. Our MATT (most amazing test team) naturally ran thru almost 180 triumphs and all MoT vendor items/the character rendezvous/the cinematics triggering/the grass changing - one even tried to speed run it - you know who you are 😀 I wouldn’t trade them for the world and I’m so damn proud of us. We really wanted you all to feel the passion we put into making the triumph journey feel bug free and rewarding. Hope that came thru. If you played these activities thru D2 and liked them/did not hit TOO many bugs, we are glad 😌 And I say WE because it is always a team effort: - Renegades golden path - Edge of Fate Invitation intro mission and abilities (MB/relocator/translator) - Final Shape lost sectors/secrets/combo testing of Dual Destiny exotic class items - Lightfall full campaign and post game run thrus - S19 Seraphs Shield exotic mission - S18 Ketchrash 6 man activity I guess I can rest now for a bit knowing the end of this journey is here and a new path awaits so many of us. Thanks to all of you at bungie who worked with me in any way. And thanks as always to the players - you made this game really feel alive. Once a guardian, always a guardian ❤️❤️❤️

Its still so shocking to me how quickly it all just blew up It wasnt but a little more than a month ago that we were right about to hear about the update and shattered cycle and the future And then in what felt like a blink the game is done, no D3, and half the company is gone

After nearly 4 years at Bungie, my role has been eliminated as of today. It has truly been a pleasure to have worked on Marathon and Destiny with such talented individuals for so long. Testing at Bungie really was different, but I'm going to miss my team the most 💙💚
