@heli_med_james @bethosmond @Dr_AdamSC @VixMonnelly @Adele57557276 Not much to add here beyond the excellent advice given by others - except that sometimes what works for one person would sound totally wrong coming from another - so you need to be genuine, human and find what works for you and the family (easier said than done under pressure!)

Speaking to student #Paramedic recently and was disappointed to hear they had received no training in breaking bad news and all arrest sims end in ROSC. This sets unrealistic expectations and doesn’t equip our future Paramedics with the right skills.

Great strides have been made in building up the TRANSFER network, over 60 sites signed so far. A huge thanks to all our regional leads for helping to get centres on board to this national service evaluation of threatened pre-term birth. tinyurl.com/4n56fb9k
