Namibia’s President, Her Excellency Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, has rejected a proposal from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to conduct trials of a hormonal intrauterine device (IUD) designed to prevent pregnancy for up to eight years in Namibia.

I believe this situation represents a profound injustice and a clear disrespect toward the Cameroonian population, as well as toward African leadership as a whole. Many observers have noted that President Paul Biya no longer appears to be in the physical condition required for the responsibilities of the highest office, and continuing to present him as the active head of state raises serious concerns. It is time for decency, transparency, and respect to guide political life in Africa.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT: In Response to Bio's Chief Minister’s Dishonesty Before the International Moral Guarantors The recent claims made by the Maada Bio's Chief Minister (CM) regarding the 100% implementation of the Agreement for National Unity (ANU) recommendations are not only factually bankrupt but represent a staggering display of diplomatic malpractice. By uttering such a boldface lie in front of the Joint Assessment Mission, the Chief Minister has brought profound shame upon the people of Sierra Leone, further isolating a regime already struggling with a crisis of legitimacy. If the regime were as confident in its compliance as the CM suggests, there would be no need for the amateurish censorship of official proceedings. The CM’s decision to deliberately blur and mute the video during the mission’s questioning is a "smoking gun." It proves that the regime is desperately hiding the truth from its own SLPP supporters. Specifically, the regime suppressed the poignant and cutting inquiry from H.E. Fatoumata Jallow-Tambajang, who asked: "How could you possibly implement these recommendations in a vacuum, without the participation of the other members of the Tripartite Committee?" This question strikes at the heart of the CM’s deception. Implementation, by definition, requires a collaborative, multi-party framework. A unilateral tick-box exercise by a single party is not an implementation of a peace agreement; it is a subversion of it.
