Just thinking about how I got into the (2002? 2003?) Comic Con by helping my guy JoshComics out. The Artist’s Alley was a ghost town, but somehow ⁦@wilw⁩ hung out with us for a bit. Another artist friend gave him a painted toilet seat cover. Wonder what happened to that.

Every so often I get reminded that I got paid while seeing @MissyElliott, @Nas, and @kendricklamar and can’t believe I got to be on the PR team for such a phenomenal organization and event. I still have big love for every single person that worked on 2006-2013 Rock the Bells.

Our lights started flickering here in Beaverton, then my mother in law called to say a plane crashed right over her in Troutdale/Fairview area. Don’t see any info on it on social yet but holy crapola.

Not sure how much longer Deadpool and Wolverine will be in theaters, but I still want to see it on the big screen. May need to ask @VancityReynolds to personally babysit my 4 year old so the wife and I can go watch some carnage. He’s happy saying “ta-da” at mundane Duplo builds.

Ended up working there for almost three years, and then transferred from Redlands to La Jolla. I only quit because the store manager at the La Jolla store I transferred to in college was absolutely awful, often saying sexist things and treating the courtesy clerks with disdain.

I did end up loving my time there, and still chat with coworkers that are still there after 25 years. I discovered the store manager in the tux had a career change when he came to do my inspection for buying my first house. I also recommended a tattoo artist to my fav clerk!

I worked for a Lucky Supermarket when they merged with @albertsons. But they didn’t call it a merger, they called it a marriage. The week we turned into an Albertson’s, my new store manager was in a tuxedo and a fellow courtesy clerk was in a wedding dress.
