@chefabbys Everyone is making sense in this comment section. 👌🏿 And what I will also say is, cooking your own food is safe weather is expensive or less expensive than buying. At least you get to know how you cook it and what you put inside. Just cook if you can. Lol 😄

Although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night's shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner, it’s incumbent upon all us to reject the idea that violence has any place in our democracy. It’s also a sobering reminder of the courage and sacrifice that U.S. Secret Service Agents show every day. I’m grateful to them – and thankful that the agent who was shot is going to be okay.

The hope of a country, gone. The light of a continent dimmed. Never to be recovered. Never again shall such a bold and close attempt be made at success. We came to the end of history, and Nkrumah was the last man.

Our zonal meeting entered Day 3 here in the Garden City, Kumasi. Today, we concluded engagements with the District Assemblies and moved to the education sector, covering both pre tertiary and tertiary institutions. I took notice of a worrying development. Across institutions, there are numerous abandoned and incomplete structures, some dating back to the 1990s. At the same time, new projects are being initiated without any clear effort to complete existing ones. This pattern reflects a systemic failure in planning, prioritisation, and accountability. We cannot continue to spread limited resources thinly while leaving critical infrastructure unfinished. This approach delivers no real value and undermines public confidence. While not every challenge can be solved through legislation, maybe it is time to think about a legal framework that compels governments to complete ongoing projects before initiating new ones. This must be backed by a rigorous approval process that ensures every project is necessary, properly scoped, and fully funded before commencement. The current model of starting and abandoning projects is inefficient and costly. It locks up public funds in unproductive assets and denies us the services those projects were meant to deliver. It is about discipline in governance, respect for public resources, and delivering results that people can see and use. #BuiltToLast #PAC #Parliament

I hope the Kpodo incident makes y’all realize that the mere fact of someone specializing in selling bad news about our country does not make them love this country more than those who scrutinize them. I hope it makes you realize that Kofi is not a thief simply because a popular news outlet or social media account says so. Kofi’s status as a thief, even as a matter of public opinion and not a judicial pronouncement must be a function of thorough scrutiny or investigation, NOT sensationalist media publications. Accountability doesn’t thrive in sensationalism. It thrives in scrutiny that establishes facts beyond dispute.

Prior to my 2024 campaign launch, I put together a Manifesto Team and made a deliberate decision to document our promises as a social contract with the people. We named it ‘Adzorgbe’, which means The Pledge. One of the bold and unconventional commitments was the MP’s Quarterly Accountability Series. Some team members proposed a biannual approach, and they made a strong case. However, we chose quarterly engagements because we believed it would enforce a higher level of accountability. That decision has proven effective. The event itself is not the most important part. What matters is what happens in between. From one session to the next, we are constantly pushing, chasing opportunities, and solving problems so we do not repeat the same issues raised previously. It keeps us on edge. The team and I are always moving, never satisfied, never complacent. We operate with the mindset that more can always be done. Last Saturday, as I reflected on our work, it was clear we have made progress, but there is still significant ground to cover, especially in job creation and road infrastructure. Some of the questions asked awakened something new in us, from young to old, the people are passionate about what matters to them. The team is already back at work. In the next three months, we will return with stronger results. Dear young leaders,Never fold, Never bend. Define your own standards.!!! #BuiltToLast #TheKetuNorthProject

I I've seen many Ghanaian youth criticize the government for providing motorcycles 🏍️ as part of the primary healthcare program. Some of you haven't traveled outside the big cities to understand how most Ghanaians live and what they endure. This is Fanteakwa South, where Ken Ofori Attah's brother serves as a Member of Parliament. Besides the lack of electricity and clean water, cars can't pass through these communities. The only transportation option is motorbikes, and even then, sometimes we have to get off and push or get stuck. Thank you, President @JDMahama @mohgovgh, for thinking outside the box and going on the ground to bring healthcare access to Ghanaians' doorsteps. @teamqha, for the past 13 years, has focused on healthcare access in underserved communities, and it's encouraging to see a government that understands what that means. Now, to the Ghanaian youth, travel outside the cities, and you'll gain a better appreciation for some of these issues. @fanti_boy @victusdela @gyaigyimii @samdarrrko @metrotvgh @tv3_ghana @ghonetv @GhanaSocialUni @Serwaa_Amihere @koboateng @SierraSec_NG @Tagbor5 @chief_aryba @sonofjacob98 @DashelleAdu @kofitonto @Bridget_Otoo @AnnanPerry @ghanaian_bell

At least 6 out of every 10 Youth Skills Development beneficiaries I have engaged are SHS graduates. We now produce more than 500k second cycle graduates annually with only 200k moving to tertiary. What, then, is the wisdom in spending 5k to train for 3-6 months in batik, coding, snail farming, bead-making, digital marketing, CCTV installation, solar system installation, fashion, cosmetology, cookery, etc., after SHS, when same skills could have been acquired in SHS? It is the same cycle we have seen from NYEP to GYEEDA, YEA, NAP, Youstart, dis, dat.. to date. After investing heavily in SHS education, just months after graduating, we turn around to spend billions again training the same graduates in basic skills that should have been practically embedded in the SHS system. We even add stipend to the ‘waste’ cost build up. The level of waste in this country is surely more than the GDP of Gambia. Make your secondary education skills rich and cut all this waste. What you refuse to learn at dawn, you will pay to learn at dusk-Larteh Proverb!
