Parents who suffered a miscarriage. Years ago miscarriages were rarely spoken of and stillborn babies were treated as medical waste. That began to change in the 1980s as parents were encouraged to acknowledge their loss. We provided free burial arrangements for them and it helped them to begin processing their grief.
