Entry level jobs were never meant to support a family of five indefinitely. That's the problem with the endless minimum wage increases.
They were designed to get high school and college kids some work experience and money for things like a car payment or food

A job that does not pay enough to live on is not a "job creator", it is a poverty creator. If workers cannot sustain themselves without state support, the business model is being subsidised. That is not success, it is structural failure.

$7.25 an hour is about $14,000 a year. No one can survive on that. People can barely survive on double that. We raised the minimum wage in Illinois. It's long overdue everywhere else.
