Too hungry for a popular hit you make a piece of corporate commercial pop that wins a Grammy. Truth is art most of the time isn't that commercial. Genesis & Rush moved on from art rock to pop rock because they wanted to sell records. Serious jazz fusion musicians can sell well #jeanlucponty but Justin Bieber outsells Chick Corea.
