@bardozVAL @Angel_foxxo @H7pernerd excited to see what you are able to measure, @bardozVAL. good luck.
English

because pros, intuitively, understand that anisotropic filtering means adding unnecessary visual clutter and making it harder to spot enemies when they are close to detailed walls/floors at an angle
it's not because "pros don't know any better lmao placebo"
CS.MONEY@csmoneytrade
Fact: most pros use biliniear texture filtering in CS2. But why?

@ItsBrokas @CounterStrike Would love to be a part of such tests, if you end up doing it. yeah ss are fine too, but ideal test would be to place bots of various agents in various maps & let testers swing out & measure their reaction time. if statistically significant, it'd be sth for valve to think about.
English

@Dragoon417 @CounterStrike That’s an interesting question to address, could do a user reaction test with screenshots, like where is Waldo but you have to find the model haha
Definitely something that is possible, especially since I have all the models decompiled now. I’ll keep it in mind!

Some @CounterStrike agent skins are MUCH bigger than others, letting you be spotted behind cover where other skins would be fully hidden.
This is why I created a website that allows you to compare the standing and crouching models of all agent skins: cs2analysis.com

English

@ItsBrokas @CounterStrike I heard that the recent scripting updates makes it possible to have something like that in an offline/workshop map. Maybe testing out visibility/reaction time impact of these agents is something that you're interested in testing?
English

@ItsBrokas @CounterStrike banger work, vision, and presentation skills as always :) quick question: is there a way to test out all these agent skins in offline mode in CS2?
English

@rollingenocide @CounterStrike personally, I would have found it more interesting if there wasn't even a theme to begin with!
English

Collaborated with 11 other mapmakers to make a map for @CounterStrike with 0 communication in 2 weeks.
5 of us designed 5 different parts of map, then another 5 arted those parts, & the remaining 2 put it all together & added fun details to it.

@Kerovski @ZooL_Smith dude pls first check the enemy's pov, send that clip here, and then we all can have a fruitful discussion and you can argue all you want.
English

@ZooL_Smith So this doesn't happen in CSGO on 20 and 28 ping.
This doesn't happen in Valorant with same ping.
But it happens in CS2 and you called it "A BETTER NETCODE THAN CSGO's".
Are you serious?
English

I'll just leave this here
twitch.tv/kerovski/clip/…
I was 20 ping, he was 28.
THE NETCODE IS FINE.
ZooL@ZooL_Smith
Even as someone who doesn't like CS2 for a lot of reasons.. THE NETCODE IS FINE and as of late, BETTER than CS:GO. The only reason CS2 "feels like shit" is because it lacks A LOT of stuff CS:GO used to have which tricked you into believing the netcode was good.

Aren't operations kind of redundant now that premier seasons are a thing? Wouldn't additional content (if it comes) be organized around their seasons rather than a big operation?
Thour@ThourCS2
According to Polymarket, there’s currently a 20% chance that CS2 will get an Operation in 2026. What do you think, are we getting it this year? 🤔
English

@ScrawnyCG but that was already in CSGO... sure CS2 looks better and is more marketable, but what specific to CS2 do we really have to gloat about?
English

@Dragoon417 An absolutely thriving esport, more history than most games could dream of, a seemingly never ending pipeline of new talents, the highest cieling of all gunplay, and a streak of updates in the right direction.
We're eating better than most.
English

@CS2Mews_EN and I see you agreeing with me but I don't see a "A new version of this tweet is available" with the correction? I see through your grovellin ass
English

@CS2Mews_EN and don't follow me. i was about to unfollow your dumb ass
English

@CS2Mews_EN yall dont even know how to play the game yall invented smh
English

BREAKING: A blue whale's poo can weigh as much as 4 tonnes making it the second largest piece of shit in the world just behind @FURIOUSSS

English

@ZooL_Smith And the immediate largest difference between csgo and cs2 we see from this tweet is the headshot blood effects.
English

@ZooL_Smith It's a shame after so many popular feedback posts like these, valve hasn't done anything. Maybe they missed it, or maybe they don't think it's an issue (which i clearly think it is). For example, see posts like these that talk about csgo being "crisp": x.com/i/status/20097…
SkinsMonkey@skinsmonkey
CS:GO was so crisp... 🥲
English

Even as someone who doesn't like CS2 for a lot of reasons.. THE NETCODE IS FINE and as of late, BETTER than CS:GO.

edeninho🦚@edeninhooo
yes I agree valve should make everyone play on 0 ping lan servers to fix this
