That's why exclusivity doesn't really matter to most gamers. The majority aren't interested in buying multiple consoles/Pc or switching platforms just to play a handful of games. So publishers basically have two choices: sell your games on the platform where players already live (their "home" console/PC), or risk missing out on a bunch of potential customers entirely.
