@vgolfman @BryanTweed16 Yeah all we hear is we need to roll back the ball players hit it too far making it too easy.. maybe the USGA should pay attention to see course setup properly means you still have to hit shots.

@BryanTweed16 A2: I dont understand how a true golf fan couldn’t like it! Great/name players, lesser known underdogs, a demanding test, good shots being rewarded while poor shots were punished but still giving the player a chance… Give me more of all of that! ⛳️🏆 #golfchat

🚨🚨🚨#GOLFCHAT QUESTION #2🚨🚨🚨 There was a lot of discourse about Aronimink and it's setup throughout the PGA Championship. What were your thoughts on the setup? Do you think it made the PGA more enjoyable with a bunched leaderboard or was it too demanding? #GolfChat

@ThePoniExpress @Blitz_Burgh Or maybe we have new coaching that knows how to scheme plays to get the ball out quicker and develop the line by playing players in their natural positions instead of trying to reinvent the wheel by shifting everyone around

@Blitz_Burgh Honestly I am ok with it the thing I am happy the most is that Tomlin is gone so whatever we do we won’t have to hear the word salads every week and watch a coach who has no idea what an NFL offense is supposed to look like…

@OlinBrowne @AdamSchupak @USGA So are you saying that your against the rollback? 😂 it makes zero sense lets make golf harder for everyone I would much rather hit 5 irons into greens than wedges and 9 irons…

Cam Young’s 375-yard drive at Players was with a ball that will conform when the golf ball rollback goes into effect? Houston, we have a problem. Story of the day (other than Rory’s blister 🤪) here: golfweek.usatoday.com/story/sports/g…

@PatMcAfeeShow Perkins saying this now where was this outrage when the @Pacers played them in the finals last year? Pacers would have won in 6 games and Haliburton might not have been out this year but Scott Foster and did this very thing.

@jacksettleman The Thunder must not only watch film and game tape but also take acting classes to prepare for games. They are literally turning into something that looks like WWE or The Globetrotters this product is unwatchable.

In soccer, there is a rule called embellishment When a player flops or dives, they actually receive a yellow card. Add embellishment to the NBA and it solves the flopping problem

@dkwintersgolf @skotskipole I think they were put together to expose the PGA Tour and force them to change. Much like when IRL and Cart leagues back in the late 90s in racing it forced change. Competition usually breeds positive change and in this case the PGA Tour updated purses and the way they do things.

@skotskipole Love the wrestling reference. And it’s true. It would take 10 years at the earliest to be a profitable tour, but idk if they were ever meant to be profitable.

For LIV to live past this year, it needs money. The league, according to official records, has operated at a loss each year. Future investors have to understand realistically that profit will not come for at least 2-3 years. And that will only come if you do exiting correctly. Forgive me for the reference, but professional wrestling found itself in a similar situation 5-10 years ago. The only reason there is an international competitor to the WWE (I’m referencing AEW) is because a multibillionaire who is not concerned about turning a profit owns the company. LIV, imho, will have to find the equivalent - a multibillionaire who is a diehard fan of golf and is untethered to the need to turn a profit. In other words… a unicorn 🦄 🤷🏼‍♂️
Flushing It@flushingitgolf

Bryson DeChambeau has been attending potential investor pitches/meetings with LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil and has been more involved with the business side of the league than he ever has in the past. “As long as LIV is here, I would figure out a way for it to make sense.”

The PGA Tour vs LIV conversation has been an interesting one the last few years. The last few weeks of noise out of LIV almost seems like a “please talk about us” on the world stage. Although at times that’s how it’s felt since LIV entered the world of golf. Let’s leave the “who they play for” out of the conversation and just talk golf. I can understand why players if offered absurd amounts of money to help start and push a new concept in golf why they would take it. If they didn’t talk positively about the product how in the world would it succeed? So of course players will talk about growing the game and being excited about a different take on the tournament golf. At the same time, did the PGA Tour need to change? Is the ripple that will work down the Korn Ferry Tour, PGA Tour Americas, and the word of Mini Tour golf worth those changes? Time will tell I suppose. I have never been for or against LIV, I love golf and have been known to turn on any college golf tournament on an obscure channel to waking up in the middle of the night to watch The Open Championship. LIV has offered a pretty amazing story of Anthony Kim back in the game and was extremely captivating to watch as a fan of golf. Our oldest son (he was 5 at the time) liked having LIV on the TV because they showed more golf shots and he noticed the team logos. Outside of that he didn’t know anything about LIV. The PGA Tour is rapidly changing whether it was for the better or not. It almost begs the question, if the Tour didn’t even acknowledge what was happening with LIV, would things been any different? All of the fighting between the PGA Tour and LIV certainly hasn’t helped golf. The talk of money and how much people make has turned off a large amount of fans. Not something that really catches the attention of the guys playing for a beverage and a couple of bucks on the weekend with their friends. Along the way YouTube Golf has exploded. Giving golf fans another outlet to watch people play golf, and share a love for the game. Some obviously serious golf, others just games and fun. But another outlet to watch golf. One thing has for sure, golf has changed. What happens from here will be interesting, but I think people are clamoring for more golf shots, real interactions, more overall golf, and less “how much did he make”. I have more thoughts on the money race but that’s for a different time. I am sure certain players will be punished more than others if they want to go back to the PGA Tour. Some will get what feels like a slap on the wrist and others will get massive suspensions. Some will go to the DP World Tour, Asia, or even just hang it up. In the end whatever happens with LIV, has it been good for golf? That’s a polarizing question with strong opinions on both sides. It has certainly helped the golfers at the highest level earn more money. Do personal brands become a part of players, less robotic/controlled interactions so fans get a chance to root for someone they feel like they know? Similar to Mr. Arnold Palmer. It’s been interesting has a fan watching the last few years unfold, and whatever happens the ripples are just being felt.

@B1OBEY0ND @SteelersNetwork So you’re saying he is better than Pickett… I would be worried if Tomlin was still there but having a coach who has coached a few good QBs in his time I am ready no matter what happens just glad for a new start without Canada or Smith or Fichner
