NBA players sit with "minor" injuries because they get absolutely owned if they try to play through them because, especially in the playoffs, you can target a particular guy on defense and absolutely expose him. it's not about pain threshold

It’s the fucking knee stiffness and cramps and rest days. The league had to implement a rule so players would play more and not miss half the season for rest days.

@dpottzzz @JohnRichTV McDavid played through a broken foot, McAvoy broken hand, Zadorov torn mcl, Arvidsson had broken ribs and a punctured lung and ways day to day. Tatum had knee stiffness and sat out game 7. Has nothing to do with popularity of the sport tatums just soft.
