@dpottzzz @JohnRichTV McDavid played through a broken foot, McAvoy broken hand, Zadorov torn mcl, Arvidsson had broken ribs and a punctured lung and ways day to day. Tatum had knee stiffness and sat out game 7. Has nothing to do with popularity of the sport tatums just soft.

@TitaniusTakes @JohnRichTV running and jumping is way harder on your knees ankles and feet tho... skating relatively low impact compared to running .. that being said nhl players play thro way more and nba the softest by far of the 4 major sports

@anymanfitness odds aren't great but there have been kids who never played ball at all then 8th/9th grade growth spurt get super tall and coach sees them turns em into a starting varsity player in a couple years

Bad news, dude:
If your kid doesn’t play travel/AAU they have no chance of playing varsity in high school.
Only exceptions would be small, rural schools without many players to choose from.
Any decent sized high school, every kid on varsity plays travel.

This series deserves a game 7, BUT, a trip that would’ve given MTL a 5 on 3 that went uncalled and another veteran pick/screen that TB gets away with to give Hagel space at the point. Playoff hockey, but at least in my view, a couple missed calls that could’ve changed the game

The problem is the slew-foot is arguably just as bad and I don’t think DoPS is going to suspend Benson.
So McAvoy will get a game or two.

McSorley precedent basically holds that this is borderline legal in *real world terms* nevermind the hockey criteria. Slew foot that preceded it won’t help McAvoy avoid a suspension, and it will be lengthy.
