So an interesting event here. I have been informed by one of my staff we have two men with metal detectors systematically working their way across one of our fields. I'm off to see what's happening.

@nut_golden @CallsignXD65 I did exactly the same thing! It was a crematorium I’d never been to before. I turned the corner wearing my bright blue coat only to face every other mourner in black. I did a sharp turnaround to find the right place. My lovely friend whose service it was, would have laughed.

@CallsignXD65 A friend of mine went to the crematorium at the correct time / day etc. Wondered why he did not know many - but saw a few safe faces. Turned out he went to Crematorium 1 and the service was in Crematorium 2.

My mum went to a friends funeral today, my mum wore bright colours at her friends request. My mum was sat in the service surrounded by everyone wearing black. My mum went to the wrong funeral. My mums friends funeral is next Friday. Anyone want my mum.

@JaneyGodley I so remember having my new Clark’s shoes, the X-rays and measuring devices through the ‘50’s and 60’s. Still ended up with bunions, surgery etc. But managed to run the London Marathon in 1982 though! Thinking of you. ❤️x

@MartinSLewis @EastMidRailway This was the train from Bristol to Derby. I struggled to get on the train due to the number of passengers around the doorway. No room for people or luggage. Our UK train systems are a total disgrace. I suggest the operators try Japanese trains. They could learn so much.

Dear @EastMidRailway this train (Ldn - Sheffield) is disgraceful. Every seat taken, every standing space taken, scores sitting in mid train corridors so I guess 500 people on it and ONLY ONE WORKING TOILET at one end, so people must crawl over each 100s to reach it. It's degrading, like something from the 19th century. PS and as I walked to the loo, apologising profusely, a number of people asked me to say something publicly about it. One of the reasons for this tweet.

@AnnalisaB My father died peacefully at home, with hospice, Macmillan and Marie Curie carers giving 24 hour care during last 5 days of his life. He was comfortable, pain free and slipped away, just as he’d asked. As a retired nurse, I cannot express enough gratitude to those professionals.
