As a career retired sniper I can categorically say this is utter bullshit. People say stuff they hear other people say and they think it’s true. It’s not. I promise you at that distance with that 30.06 rifle I could put 100 shots out 100 inside your mouth hole and the guys who are still in there prime would ask you which nostril you want hit. When professional shooters do it we hit what we aim for and if we don’t we usually know the exact reason we missed and nail the follow up shot immediately. The whole bullets do crazy unpredictable things all the time lie is laughable. If that were true snipers would not exist. Our profession is based on repetitive consistency. Bullets go exactly where you point them unless you or environmental factors affect them. Period.
Gun Gnome@GunGnome

You could shoot 100 human necks with 100 of the most perfectly manufactured identical 30-06 rounds and get 100 different results. Bullets do weird shit. Your favorite "expert" being unable to recreate what happened is not proof that it didn't happen. Sorry but it's not.

@FenixAmmunition I’ve pulled core lokt 300WM copper jacket from the opposite side of an Elk hit around 300 yards. Went through ribs on one side of the animal. Jacket shed off and lodged in the hide opposite body. 30-06 with the same soft point but no exits seems massively implausible.

Literally 16/17 Remington products in .30-06 uses kind of soft point, tipped hollow point, expanding copper, or some other type of projectile designed specifically to deform and/or break into pieces when impacting soft tissue. You could walk into any sporting goods store and pick something at random off the Remington shelf in .30-06 and the odds of choosing something that would do exactly what happened in this case is 94.1% likely. This is honestly the most retarded conversation I think I've ever had to be a part of but I'm just astonished at the lack of information the general public has about projectiles and ballistics and probabilities. It's wild to me. Go here to Remington's fucking website and see for yourself. We know based on the fact that it had a copper outer jacket and a lead interior core that it isn't something exotic like an all-copper projectile (first photo). This also tells us that it ISN'T a frangible projectile, because most frangibles use a sintered iron and copper core with a copper jacket, or sometimes with no jacket at all. It's also unlikely to be some of the more "premier brand" stuff like a Swift brand projo because stores don't usually stock that stuff. Maybe during hunting season and maybe more likely in Utah given the prevalence of long range shooting but still, unlikely also due to cost. A shooter probably wouldn't buy a $75 box of ammo when there's another for $42 that sounds like it does pretty much the same thing. I would bet a considerable amount of money it's a Remington Cor-Lokt 180gr soft point. It's probably Remington's highest selling product in .30-06. But yes Owen please tell me more, I'm here to be educated. remington.com/rifle/?prefn1=…

Just read the ATF report and it doesn’t even specify that “fragments” were from Charlie Kirk’s body. They concluded the Remington shell casings match the Remington casings found at the scene as well as the ones with engravings on them. They also tested the “murder weapon” to make sure it could shoot. So now they have committed to the brand of round being Remington. This means that the frangible round theory that would be the only possible way there wouldn’t be a massive exit wound is now off the table. Whoops! @RealCandaceO @baroncoleman

What is Judaism? Is it what the Sadducees say it is? Is it what the Pharisees say it is? Is it what the Orthodox say it is? Judaism centers on the belief in one God and the covenant established between God and the descendants of Abraham. More than just a faith, it encompasses the collective spiritual, cultural, and legal civilization of the Jewish nation. Nothing in that precludes God among us.

Totally agree. First of all, many of the fools dropping “dispensationalism” around here don’t even know what it means. Second, it takes a special kind of brain malfunction and spiritual retardation to believe a people who didn’t even have a country for 1800 years rule the world.
Megan Basham@megbasham

I’m not a dispensationalist, but the bizarre fixation some people have to making everything about the joooooooos is a pretty strong argument that Satan still considers them God’s chosen people. Because I don’t know how else to explain obsessive hatred like that.

The “son” portrayed by the conquistadors; the one who came with swords, forced baptisms, and empire, is not the Son, the true Jesus of the Bible. The real Jesus said His kingdom is not advanced by violence (John 18:36). He washed feet. He loved enemies. He died for sinners. A Jew who rejects that false version is rejecting a lie. That is wise. Scripture is clear about salvation: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12) Jesus said: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) Can someone follow “the real Jesus in his heart without even realizing it”? The Bible does not give us clear warrant to say no. Faith comes from hearing the message about Christ (Romans 10:17). People are called to repent and believe in the risen Lord Jesus, the Jewish Messiah who fulfills the Tanakh. Old Testament saints were saved by looking forward in faith to God’s promised Redeemer. After the cross, the message is explicit. God sees the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). He is just and merciful. He will not condemn anyone for rejecting a false “Jesus” they were shown. But Scripture ties salvation to trust in the true Christ revealed in the Gospels and the Hebrew Scriptures, not to sincere religion or good deeds alone. Only Christ sorts the sheep from the goats (Matthew 25). We do not know every individual heart. Our job is not to guess who might be “in” by some hidden faith. Our job is to present the real Jesus; the humble, merciful, risen Messiah of the Tanakh and New Testament, clearly and lovingly to everyone, including Jewish people. He alone is the door. Humility before Him is always right.

If "neither Jew nor Greek" (Galatians 3:28) means Christians replace Jews, then "neither male nor female" means Christians replaced men and women. Paul's point is equal standing in Christ, not erasure. Romans 11 settles it. Gentiles are wild branches grafted into Israel's olive tree, not a new tree. Paul warns them directly: "do not be arrogant toward the branches... it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you" And he asks plainly, "has God rejected his people? By no means!". Grafted in is not swapped out.

@VoWrld @PBonneyII @RealCandaceO Soft point inside 200 yds that frags that much in 6” of meat & no exit (doesn’t exist in any known commercial round) would be a helluva scene. The story makes no sense. I’ve put .308 soft point across ribs and a shoulder plate on wild boar. Thirty-aught stopping? Nah. No way

@PBonneyII @RealCandaceO Why not disclose that information then? If he was using soft tip rounds they should point that out. He likely used FMJ Which would’ve blown a big ass hole in his neck and and even bigger hole in the wall behind him.

Tyler Robinson is on video on campus four times. (So, he was there.) Medical examiner’s report says cause of Charlie’s death was a gunshot wound to the neck. (So, not an exploding mic from Israel.) TPUSA turned over HD video footage from their cameras of the shooting to law enforcement. (So, the videographer did not steal the footage to hide some secret reality about the murder.) The lead investigator testified that their big tip came when a person — Tyler Robinson — turned himself in to Washington County police. (So, he did turn himself him.) Access to the rooftop is easy, a staircase open to the public and a small guardrail that can be hopped over to gain entry to the gravel rooftop. (So, no Spider-Man ability necessary to get to the roof). Defense actually DOES have access to the state’s discovery. They’ve filed ZERO motions to compel because they are satisfied with state cooperation on this. (So, no fed conspiracy to deny defense exculpatory evidence.) No bullet casing on the roof? So what? Bolt action rifles don’t auto reject casings if only one shot is fired. The casing was found inside the rifle with three other unfired rounds. (So, not a “set up” framing Tyler Robinson’s rifle.) Tyler Robinson was laughing in court. (So, not distraught about “false allegations.) What is the defense here? A mass conspiracy of Israel, Egypt, France, the U.S. Military, Charlie’s former security, Erika Kirk, Cabot Philips, Kash Patel, the FBI, the ATF, Utah police, the judge, and TPUSA all in on the plot together… only without a SHRED of evidence implicating any of them? If you believe that, you need to set down your phone, immediately go to Confession, pray in humility for wisdom and discernment, and start reading a rigorous curriculum of the classics to train your mind to think rather than be swayed by cultish emotional groupthink. I say this with love because otherwise you have surrendered the mind and soul God gifted you to the Great Deceiver.

@EvidenceOfFaith Yet there are a “cloud of witnesses” (Hebrews 12:1) Revelation 5:8 Saints prayer being offered in heaven (so biblical proof of intercession AND “dead” people prayers). Revelation 8:3-4. Martyrs (again “dead” people) and more. Biblical truths.

Of course Mary is alive in Christ (not on this Earth). So are all believers who died in faith. But that still doesn’t mean we pray to them. The Bible gives eternal life to believers, but it directs prayer to God. “Our Father” is the model, not “Mary, hear us.” Eternal life does not equal permission to invoke the dead.
