@kemal_e_forde No, Kemal, I have to disagree on this. The time she was given was not appropriate. Yes, it is unfortunate the manner in which she was involved in cheating; however, the fact of the matter is she is still benefiting from the effects of it clearly.

Track and Field is a sport that has been filled with athletes who have engaged in doping. Some of whom have served their times and are even celebrated when they return to the sport . Many people tend to not understand the Adaejah Hodge case happened when she was a minor. A lot of these teenagers are not going to research the Prohibited List because they are basically sponges who take advice from the adults they trusted with their careers. Adaejah Hodge progressing from 11.11seconds to 10.77seconds is not necessarily surprising because obviously during her time off she was training but not competing. As well she actually showed signs of being a talented athlete when she won the 100m, 200m and Long Jump at CARIFTA 2022. The same grace we extend to senior athletes who did their time and returned should be the same for this athlete.
