T1 The Village of Hommlet Greatest starting village. Great seeds throughout. It would be 6 years before we got the "sequel" I have probably run Hommlet a dozen or more times. I've never run the Temple of Elemental Evil.

Well, what did you all think of Black Box D&D? Personally I loved the value of it. A rule book, miniature figures, monster flats, a poster dungeon map, a dm screen. All for $20.00 this got heavy use in my youth. Hence the battle damage.

Do you have a “go-to” funny voice for your bad guy in your D&D or other role-playing games? 😆

I9 Ravenloft. One of the greatest D&D modules of all time. However it heralded an idea that has severely hampered modern D&D play: supplanting the dungeon with a BBEG I9 itself didn't do this but it opened the door.

Why is B2 often called the GOAT of adventures? Because there is no plot. No BBEG. the players are the main character. The best DMs are there to facilitate & spectate.

“The Big Stash” - Cover of Dragon Magazine 129, January 1988, by Keith Parkinson. Keith’s thoughts - People always ask me, “Are those dwarves putting it in or are they taking it out?”  And I always ask back, “What do you think?”  Invariably, people reflect a moment and then reply, “Taking it out, of course, dwarves would never leave treasure behind, would they?”   What do you think?

In 1975, a NASA study found the resources of the asteroid belt would be sufficient to produce enough rotating habitats to provide 3,000 times the living space as the surface of the Earth.
