I know there are two groups, YIMBY and NIMBY. I know they both hate each other. However I don’t really get the whole beef? If someone wanted to build a golf course near me I’d be a NIMBY. If they wanted to build mixed use shops and apartments I’d be a YIMBY. I can’t be using these terms correctly.
