@graemelamperson Lima has some lf worst traffic ever, city of 7 million with no public transit other than busses. Also expensive compared to other south america cities. Spent a week there more than enough time to eat and drink well.. but more than that no thanks BsAs is better

An INSANELY underrated country… 📍Peru 🇵🇪 Beautiful beaches in the north. World-class food all over. Amazing history in the sacred valley &… An elite city in Lima. HIGHLY recommend to spend a few months in 🇵🇪.

Mayweather went bankrupt after earning $1.2B in his career. Seeing his houses and cars being auctioned is bizarre.

Strands of Abraham Lincoln’s hair were collected from his head after his death and given to his widow Mary Todd Lincoln. She then gave them to friends. These three strands were given to Dr. Charles Taft and it was bought at auction in 1914 for $330. It sold today for $9,375.

@darrenrovell Nice. Great luck!! Before the auction ends, would you consider a trade for a Charlie Hough-autographed baseball? I’ll cover shipping. 🤜🏼🤛🏼 @D_Dub70

@Budgetdog_ Stop this. In 1979 you had to buy 100 share lots of stocks. There was no $VOO. Comissions were about $200 per trade. It would have cost you $20,000 just to buy the top 100 stocks. And no talk about rebalancing over those 42 years. This is pure fantasy!! NOT POSSIBLE

@mcfarm21 @Nickev97 I mean you are basically paying for grading and card is free at that price point. For non club members i see $33 cheapest submission.. when you add in your shipping and return shipping probably close to $50 cost

Crazy enough Bonds was easy with the Pirates …and Rickey was always a nightmare
Vintage Slab Man@VintageSlabMan

@Steve_Grad I saw it many times firsthand in Spring training over the years. My personal worst experiences as a kid were Barry Bonds (Giants era), he was as insufferable and rude as I have ever seen. Will Clark got worse over time too. The late 80's A's were awful except Rickey, he signed

Meeting him at an event where he’s paid to be versus an encounter when he played are two different things. Ken didn’t treat a lot of fans too well when he was playing

@Steve_Grad @_CardGuy_ Met him at a @Topps party. He couldn't have been nicer. I asked who his fav teammate was and he said Buhner.

Merrill Edge is acting very buggy, not letting me delete options orders, not letting me trade some on one day but allowing another day, I'm going to have to switch brokers soon. It's getting worse all the time. No human help chat windows either. Bank of America must be sleeping

Christie’s estimated that an original poster for the 1965 Newport Folk Festival, when Bob Dylan “went electric,” would was worth between $3,000 and $5,000. It just sold for $33,020.

@darrenrovell @ChristiesInc Ponderous question for you Darren. Would you want your kids auctioning off your most important and personal memorabilia within a year of your death? Jim Irsay died May 21, 2025. The Irsay children certainly can't be hurting for money.

The star of tonight’s Jim Irsay collection at @ChristiesInc is Jack Kerouac’s “On The Road” scroll. It was bought by Irsay for $2.4 million, but should go for north of $3.5 million tonight.

This Lake Como villa has two prices. €470k without the private dock and €950k with it. The dock alone is worth almost as much as the villa. That's how rare a private mooring on Lake Como is. The villa is in Vassena, 10 minutes from Bellagio. 130m² (1,399 sq ft) across multiple levels, 4 beds, 3 baths, a 60m² terrace facing the lake and a garden. The dock is a covered darsena with a mechanical boat lift and direct water access. Parking for up to 6 cars also included, which on Lake Como is no small thing. Would you go villa only, or stretch for the dock?
