Being part of the CBA ’26 cohort has been truly impactful. ✨ This journey has taught me the power of consistency, community, talent development, and protecting my work as an artist and in a world full of chaos to become the Order.🥳 #CBA26 #CBAforAfrica26 @cbaforafrica

One thing I’ve genuinely learned from #CBAForAfrica26 is how powerful community and consistency can be. A lot of people wait until everything is perfect before showing up online, but this programme keeps proving that growth comes from participation, collaboration, and visibility. Real connections open real doors. #CBAForAfrica26 @cbaforafrica

One thing I love about what @cbaforafrica is doing is that they are filling a wide gap in the creative industry. Everyone just entering the industry is supposed to just “know” how it works, and usually that leads to mistakes that could have been avoided.

One thing I’ve learnt from the CBA for AFRICA so far is that relationships move things just as much as talent does. A lot of people are trying to “blow”, but the people who really last understand community, consistency, timing, and positioning. #CBAForAfrica26 @cbaforafrica

It’s been about 3 months in @cbaforafrica and it’s been months of learning and unlearning. Learning that what the music business should be like is quite different from what the music business is like in Nigeria, and I like that they’re training us for that. Because there’s….

#CBAForAfrica26 has been both demanding and deeply rewarding, giving me the chance to unpack the complexities of the music business while connecting with a large supportive network of people. I’m genuinely grateful for the opportunity to take part in the program @cbaforafrica

At @cbaforafrica cohort 26 we were reminded that; Music isn’t just lyrics, melody, and harmony. It’s woven into the very fabric of society a potent tool for cultural shaping, revolution, and constructive rebellion. #CBAForAfrica26 #music

Before I knew the music industry was an actual industry — I was just a kid obsessed with the music, the videos, the art. @cbaforafrica didn’t just teach me. It confirmed what I always felt and showed me the structure behind it.

"The world you are training to enter is not gentle. The creative industry, in Africa and globally, is fast, unforgiving, and quick to move on from people who are not ready for it" - Godwin Tom The ultimate lesson learnt from #CBAforAfrica2026

nearly 4months in and I've had to unlearn almost everything I thought I knew. when I joined #CBAForAfrica26, I came in with beliefs I was confident in and few months later, I've had to strip them down to rebuild my foundation this time with sharper insights and a clearer lens.

So I Joined the CBA @cbaforafrica this year. I felt it was time to level up and get the right information and knowledge needed to sustain myself in the music industry . Definitely one of the best decision I made. #CBAforAfrica26

I walked into #CBAForAfrica26 thinking I was just there to network. Having worked in the music industry for a while, I honestly thought I’d seen it all. I was wrong. CBA completely shifted my perspective and showed me just how much room I still have to grow. @cbaforafrica

One thing the @cbaforafrica Academy has taught me is that the music industry is far deeper than just “making music.” Behind every hit record are IPs, Ownership, Structure, etc. African music is no longer just culture. It’s a serious economic asset. #CBAForAfrica26

I began the music business program at @cbaforafrica earlier this year with the goal of understanding the music industry but the thing I love the most about the program is how I have seen so many pathway options one could go in the same industry. 100% recommend #CBAForAfrica26.
