my priorities with coffee are (in order of magnitude); how quietly i can make it, how quickly i can make it. so mostly i drink instant coffee. its not very delicious. whats faster and quieter than instant ? anything?

@patrickc For me making the coffee, smelling the aromas and hearing the brewing is a part of the enjoyment.

After seeing this tweet, a few people pointed me to cometeer.com. Basic idea: frozen capsules of concentrated coffee that you just add to hot water. After several days of consumption, can confirm that this works exceptionally well.
