@ali_riddle Our team is currently testing out the Drobo firmware with the latest MacOS Ventura. If any compatibility issues arise we will update our firmware and let everyone know after the OS official launch.

@drobo Donyou anticipate any compatibility issues with MacOS Ventura. I presume you have been checking with the betas that are available. We have been promised software compatibility upgrades for years, with non ever arriving.

@jcnetworks If the Drobo is currently formatted for 16TB or smaller volume size you would need to backup all your Drobo data. Once all of the data is backed up you would restore to factory settings to get one large 64TB volume. After that you could use larger size drives, up to 18TB.

.@drobo I've seem to have reached my max capacity of storage space on my 5D. I read somewhere that I have to off load my data, reformat and set up larger partitions. Is this true? If yes, what's the best way to offload my data? I can't even buy another Drobo right now.

@drobosupport @drobo I've been using a Drobo 5N for a few years. Today I tried doing a firmware update and now it's a brick. Fan comes on, green light on power supply but no lights on the Drobo. I don't want to loose the 11TB of data I have on there.

@CjcCraig Our 5D3 comes with a Thunderbolt 3 connection compatible with Macs. We are expecting a restock of this model within the next 3-5 months, subject to change based on part availability.

As the chip shortage became more extreme and oversea lockdowns continued, our timeline for new Drobos was impacted. We are expecting 5-bays but don't have a solid ETA as we navigate these ongoing challenges.

If you own a DROBO disk array, know that @drobo is OUT of BUSINESS. If your array fails you CANNOT buy a replacement array to migrate the drives into and restore your data. Even if it's working perfectly REPLACE IT IMMEDIATELY. Do this expensive frustrating thing right now!!!

@smackthud The ongoing supply chain shortage coupled with covid-19 related events has impacted our manufacturing timeline. We are expecting more 5-bay units and the ETA varies as lockdowns continue in China, where we manufacture, and source more chips for our products.
