We must continue to support the @WilliamsRuto President’s unwavering fight against corruption. Public officers who break the law should not wait to be told to step aside they must resign and answer for their actions. Joe Sang, PS Liban, and Kiprop of EPRA resigned before being taken to court, and now they must face the full force of the law. Their attempt to create an artificial fuel shortage for personal gain was unethical and a betrayal of public trust. Such conduct has no place in our country’s leadership.

We must all condemn the abuse of official government communication channels to polish individual reputations. Am I the only one noticing how National Police social media accounts are being used to clean up DIG Lagat’s image? Even ordinary posts, including those meant to celebrate mothers and mark public occasions, somehow end up carrying his branding and visibility. State platforms are not personal PR machines. Kenyans have not forgotten the death of Albert, and no amount of image laundering through public institutions will erase the questions that still remain.
