@PhiDXGames @overflowyouknow I grew up playing ball in the projects, the sheer amount of shit that’s talked on a court on an average Tuesday could prepare anyone for even the most insane FGC banter.

A lot of replies have already mentioned how Pokchop creates a lot of hype, keeps it in the game, and is very wholesome outside of the matches. I'd like to add the perspective that—as someone who is pretty soft—I've grown a lot as a competitor and as a person because of people who talk shit non-personally. I started having a lot more fun when I realized things were not that serious, and the FGC really captures this type of energy that is hard to find in other spaces.

Does literally anybody else do that shit while playing professionally? It's funny for a moment but it's also lowkey disrespectful to the person you're going up against. Nothing about this game warrants all that. Imagine Knee or Arslan doing that. I know I'm gonna get roasted for this take because he's been doing that for years but every time I see that I'm like damn not cool.

Hot take. Game Consoles should be able to play EVERY game from their predecessor consoles. I dont care the cost, or how you do it. I should be able to put ANY PS1 disc in a PS5 and it should just work. PERIOD. Am I right or wrong?

@hydrosting @swaglordfilip @anime_daily Honestly it’s the translation team. It takes a lot of work to translate from Japanese to any western language. There are lots of subtleties in Japanese that simply don’t exist in English or Spanish. You can’t just 1 to 1 translate and then give it to the VAs like they do now

@WeNeed2BanPuff @MickleChrom I agree it’s rare to get a bad roll, but I feel like at the top level of comp eliminating even a small chance of being in a bad situation due to circumstances out of your control is always better than relying on rolls.

@Drop0utFGC @MickleChrom Most of his spells are good, and you draw 4 at a time, so getting a bad draw is pretty rare. Chances of getting zoom also are increases when he's in the blastzone, so with optimal zoom farming, he easily has a top 10 recovery

After some thought, I realize expedition 33 has proven to the industry that you can make a game that’s triple A quality with both commercial and critical success with a much smaller more focused development team. I think this might actually prove to be a positive trend.

If you are in FGs for $$$, you are in for a bad time. This thing we all love is a glory pursuit, not a financial one. I would LOVE for that to not be true, but it simply is. The industry doesn't see big future in FGs outside of the "passionate core audience"
