i’m truly shocked and at a loss for words right now. this morning i woke up to an email saying that my (first) twitch payout had been suspended due to fraudulent activity. i was going to submit a support ticket delivering the information it asked me to give them later in the day because i don’t stream for money so i wasn’t concerned about fixing the issue right in that moment. about an hour later i received an email stating that my account has been indefinitely suspended for “fraud” and the only details it gave me was for “purchases”. i actually have not spent money on twitch as poffu. i have been wrongfully suspended for something i haven’t even done. as soon as i saw the email (25 minutes later) i submitted an appeal and it was IMMEDIATELY declined, literally within seconds. i’m completely heartbroken and at a loss. i don’t know what to do in this situation as this has never happened to me before. vtubing has always been my dream and it feels like my journey just ended before it could even begin. if you’re seeing this, thank you for taking the time to read through this. if anyone has any advice or knows how to navigate through this very confusing situation safely, i’m all ears.

Twitch just implemented Store Credit for non-affiliate streamers. The rest of the changes here are cool but the money side of this is weird as hell. You must become affiliate to cash out anything you earn. You can use Spendable Balance to buy bits and subs for other streamers using it though. Even with tax information submitted it won't let you cash out. According to the FAQ it seems you may also have to pay taxes on the money you can't cash out? Pic included from the help page. This needs clarity.
