Honestly I was really happy for ultimate getting their delay mod but the "discourse" and controversy around it are beyond pathetic.
I know the majority aren't like this but every single person complaining about/reporting the mod is a gutless bootlicker who deserves nothing good.

@isohelsgarden 2 biggest reasons:
1. It takes so long to become a super top level melee player, they all were playing and formed a playstyle long before Cody was so clearly the best Fox.
2. Melee top tiers (Fox esp) have so many strong options you can be effective with many playstyles.

why doesn't every fox ever try to just play like Cody? id say a lot of good ult reps of their character likely play a LOT like their best rep/at least try to. theres a p clear answer in most cases as to what = optimal so just do that

@isohelsgarden Most of the time you are attempting to pivot but you should input the jc just in case. Some bigger moves require you to dash back in and then jc grab no matter what though. Sometimes you're not *really* whiff punishing and want to dash back in more as a little overshoot too.

I know mangos sort of Voldemort now for the game, but again melee will never see a greater losers run than pound 3. This is erasure of history unironically.

I will do my customary little writeup in the coming days but just wanted to say ggs and great seeing you to everyone at Genesis. Another tournament without the results/play I'm searching for but there is at least some improvement.

I see a lot of discourse about this but the only opinion I'd REALLY be interested in is from someone who is at the lower end of the list in both games, which doesn't exist, which IMHO speaks to both how different the skillsets are and how hard it is for both games.

Melee is 10x easier
To get top 100 in melee you need to beat 3 decent players and be slightly notable
In Ult you have to slaughter half the top 15 players and top 3 a 1024 person japanese tournament
Literally seen major winners in Ult get spots in the 30s
