@WatchesWinWars Luck is the intersection of Preparedness and Opportunity

This was sent to me by a dear friend. And he isn’t one to talk about himself so I’m going to on here.
I always say “it’s better to be lucky than good” but the back half of that quote goes something like “the harder you work, the luckier you seem to get”. He has had an awesome career (so far) and has been given some fantastic opportunities because he always aims to be the hardest worker in the room.
There’s a lesson we all can take from that.

@mathemetica Point is - why does one worry. One does not bear the uneasiness when one faces discomforting, irritating situations. One wants to cover up this uneasiness. Once covering up is disregarded, whole energy is gathered here.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police has busted a drug peddling syndicate comprising 11 suspects, including both men and women, who were arrested while allegedly trafficking approximately 200 kilogrammes of dagga and other illicit substances.
The suspects were intercepted while travelling from Beitbridge, with the contraband cleverly packaged in a manner meant to resemble blankets in order to evade detection. During the operation, police also confiscated unregistered medicines found in the suspects’ possession.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police reiterates that there is no going back in the fight against drug trafficking and substance abuse, and warns that all individuals involved in the illegal production, transportation and distribution of drugs will be arrested and brought before the courts.

Honestly, I respect when someone circles back and owns their words. Not everyone does that. If she understands why what she said was wrong and is intentional about moving differently, that’s growth. With such a major festival coming up, it’s better to step into it with clarity than controversy hanging over her.

Looks like Naledi Apihwe is apologizing for her comments on Zimbabwe a few months ago
Yes what she said then was not sober minded, but at the end of the day if someone can see their wrongs and try to do good, we can move past it
And I think it's a good thing considering she's going to be the South African act for the Ama2k Festival
Shows you it's a serious event that's going to be happening on the 4th of April
