@Emilpo_is_down @TheBuddyCSM @osully1369 As an Army Substance Abuse guy, as soon as I saw the video, my alcohol spidey senses started tingling. Not that he was probably drinking the morning of, but I'd be interested to know how much he's drinking in general and the night before in particular. Just a guess.

@TheBuddyCSM @osully1369 A buddy of mine knows him personally. He said this is super out of character for him. Not sure what happened before this but it looks too crazy for an issue with running on a road.

If you read “The Noncommissioned Officer’s Guide to Radical Candor” you know that this is an extreme case of “Obnoxious Aggression.” If one acts like this when the stakes are low, how do they act when stakes are high?

Pretty sure this the Army Lieutenant Colonel is getting fired Video from Fort Bliss is currently going viral on military social media. The footage purports to show an interaction between a U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel (who commands the 1-43 Air Defense Artillery Battalion)

@DrNeilStone What was life expectancy for those who lived past 30? You're playing tricks with the numbers by including death from childhood diseases.

How would knowing that Covid came from a lab - assuming for the sake of argument that it did, and that we could know that with certainty - have saved lives? What would have been different about our response?
Rand Paul@RandPaul

Federal records were deleted. Investigations were obstructed. Emails show a deliberate campaign to silence scientists who questioned the narrative. This is not incompetence. This is a cover-up. And it cost lives.

@DrNeilStone I would never drink raw milk, but as a matter of semantics, pasteurization is cooking, thing that are cooked are not raw.

Raw milk is best with the potentially life threatening bacteria taken out of it Which is called pasteurisation. Odd that I have to explain this in 2026 but apparently so

@AlDefinitely Why does race matter at all then? Shouldn't all voters have the same opportunity to support winning candidates? How does race even enter the discussion?

My son’s wife got physical with me, and I ended up injured. A few hours later, my son texted: “Stay away from us.” I replied, “Okay.” And I meant it. The next morning, I quietly withdrew the financial support I’d been giving for their new house. Days later, their loan was denied….

@ASFleischman Provocation for them to yell back, not for battery. Mere words are not equivalent to attempted rape. I mean, dude deserved to be clobbered as a matter of consensus opinion. I don't think that translates to not having a legal right to self defense.

Maybe there are facts in this case that gave this guy a reason to think his victim posed a deadly threat. But even then, he has to deal with the provocation problem. Screaming the N word at people is provocation.

Even if he had a viable self defense claim, people sometimes forget that a jury can convict you out of sheer dislike and there's no way to reverse on that basis.

I can see that I am going to be spending the next few years defending Fani Willis from unconstitutional attacks and DOJ targeted, political prosecutions. Leave her be and let voters decide these things. And the voters have spoken.

Fulton DA Fani Willis and DeKalb DA Sherry Boston vow to challenge “this illegal bill.” “Sadly, thanks to the irresponsible actions of the Republican majorities in the legislature and Governor Kemp, taxpayers will be the ones footing the bill to defend it in court.” #gapol

@OldManLefty1 @DavidFr47800755 I don't think you understands how this works. If you create black districts you create white districts by default. If you eliminate black districts you ALSO eliminate white districts and end up with integrated districts.

Whites compose less than 60% of America's demographic, and shrinking fast, so why should they control 100% of the voting districts? The Supreme Court got this one so wrong..

@OldManLefty1 @sylvester204 That's pretty much what Louisiana had that you're complaining about. No it wasn't OK to segregate the districts. Neither white districts nor black districts were ok.

We just learned that Georgia is moving forward with gerrymandering for 2028. There is an extreme movement in this country that will stop at nothing to hold on to power, even if it means stripping representation away from millions. I will fight this with everything I have.

NEW: Almost every member of the Tennessee Black Caucus in the State House being PUNISHED and stripped of Committee assignments for speaking out against mass disenfranchisement of Black voters. This is the kind of racism we can expect to see more often in the wake of Callais.

A $15 repair should not turn into a $47,000 bill paid by taxpayers. But that’s what happens when defense contractors lock the Army out of fixing its own equipment. We need to pass my bipartisan military right to repair law now.

@RepJohnnyO As a Republican, I agree. But it can't be done in a partisan way. Write it to take effect in 10 years so no one can predict the party with the senate or presidency when it happens. If you won't do that, you don't want term limits, you want a political win.
