Ranch is arguably one of the best food resources until late game.
Expensive, late game Dispatch missions are a source of high level refinement items
The Farm is a great resource for high level skill materials, such as Ginseng.
Max level merchants in camp offer some of the highest qualities of certain items ive found (30 iron ore, for example)

Is there any good reason to be working on your camp in Crimson Desert? 🔹The only reason I can think of is you can customize your character Rest all vendors are available elsewhere. Also, any money you earn goes to camp so there is nothing for you?

No, I'm pigeonholed into a platform I either don't have or don't use to save a few bucks. Steams keeping the prices fair across the board with the strategy they're using.
If it ain't on steam or GoG, I'm not buying it, period because both of those marketplaces actually protect me as a consumer.
At this point it's just gonna be an argument over opinions and won't really be productive, so you do you bud.

@WeebQx @TotallyNotDrex What ripoff? You as the consumer choose your own option. Devs still want to make money they won't put it at 100$ on Steam and 40$ on Epic or stuff like that. They will just adjust to get the same revenue based on the cut of the storefront. As a consumer you just get more options.

@WeebQx @TotallyNotDrex It prevents developers from setting lower prices on other store fronts, aka can't compete in prices. It isn't fair. I like steam that doesn't mean that a dev shouldn't be able to set 50$ on steam and 40$ on Epic and get the same revenue from both sales.

@WeebQx @TotallyNotDrex Valve's Steam platform uses a Platform Most Favored Nations (PMFN) clause in its developer agreements, which requires game publishers to sell their games on other platforms at the same or higher prices than on Steam. This clause prevents developers from offering lower prices.

@Duduu26 This stuff isn't weird imo, if I turn off DLC on steam's side, the game shouldn't know I own it. That should be the way it works, however if there's a function ingame that's constantly checking for the presence of DLC to the point it causes problems, that's weird.

Tried replicating the issue by enabling/disabling all the DLC I have, didn't notice a difference in performance, but I don't know how the 'DLC Presence Checker' works, if disabling DLC on steam's end would have any impact on it or even if I own enough DLC to make a difference.

Reddit user claims that they've figured out what causes Monster Hunter Wilds performance issues – and it's kind of wild. According to their investigation: • Owning more DLC = more FPS • This is due to an aggressive check the game does to see what DLC you own • It is NOT intentional by Capcom but this constant check causes performance dips • The user created a mod that tricks the game into thinking you own all DLC and noticed immediate improvements • All information has been sent to Capcom support • This same user has already already helped Capcom solve a performance issue in Dragon's Dogma 2 (via de_Tylmarande / Reddit)

@therooster I would say it needs a nerf by buffing the other kits. Other than tactical MK2 I have not seen a single kit in game that helps in any way in combat. The defensives in this game are lacking so people feel that they don't need to bring good loadouts to get kills.

what is your best advice or recommendations for overcoming the Nerscylla DPS check?
I switch to fire DBs and go all out as best I can, but still can't manage to kill that spider quick enough half of the time!

@glitch_angels @Shincry Use rocksteady when it comes out. Also having mog ready when is good as well. It is not guaranteed, but it's a decent chance you will meet the dps check.

@pathofexile So you literally nerfed the pick-up range on Sorc!? Jesus this infusions are the worst implemented mechanic ever, in what world do you imagine the fantasy of rolling around mobs to pick up stuff you can barely see on the ground. Sorc in POE2 is the worst mess in any game.
