This is crazy you have white gentrifiers protesting against a Mexican immigrant landlord who has owned the building for 30 years, through all the down years when logan was not as nice, and now wants to cash out.

@cbschicago This building is 1.35M not 3.5 - a 4 flat. Looks like the current owners (a husband and wife) bought it in 1995, holding it for 30 years. This isn’t some giant corp that owns it, just a couple who are looking to sell. I have 0 sympathy for these tenants redf.in/H64MKv

@royalpratt Stratton was IL rep for 2 yrs before JB picked her for LG. Anyone who knows anything abt IL politics knows IL LG is a useless office. Comparatively zero elected experience (as a state rep!) vs 2 seasoned US Reps. Whatever, JB needed this win for 2028 POTUS run, and he got it $$
