No. 73 (1982-88). TVS's rival kid's show to BBC's Saturday Superstore.
Part sitcom, part magazine show, Sandi Toksvig claimed she got the gig after seeing it advertised in The Stage magazine and sending in a photo of herself taken in a photo booth at Victoria Station. Neil Buchanan and (later on) poet Roger McGough added to the highbrow madness.

We offer our #CAPITALMembers a weekly peer art group every Monday (1-4pm) at our office in Bognor Regis. This is a great opportunity to get together with other members and support each other whilst creating art together.

Colleagues even stopped talking to her.
Her story is an example of why we must end the judgement around mental illness 👉 bit.ly/3U0MVbz

New behavioural science research shows that cynical thinking is a barrier to success at work. Cynicism can bleed workplaces of creativity, openness & morale & negatively impact outcomes. People who succeed at work tend to so by building trusting connections & alliances: the opposite of cynicism. People don't typically have "cynical personalities". Rather, the social environment significantly shapes our willingness to give & earn trust. Three ways to overcome a culture of cynicism:
1) Turn trust and collaboration into the default setting in the team/organisation.
2) Show how popular cooperative values really are & help people feel safer pursuing collective success.
3) Role model being the first to trust.
hbr.org/2024/08/why-cy…. By @zakijam. I've paired it with a @nickcave quote via the author which illustrates the counter position to cynicism which is hopefulness.
