Auspill was in the US with you and Scott. I like you and Scott and Rukshan and Avi, willing to give you all the benefit of the doubt. The white Australia lobby has been pushing ethnonationalism and the mantra of racial purity while openly dehumanising non-white people for the past few months. These same people then act mystified when conservatives on the right with migrant heritage push back against their rhetoric and views. The next two years in Australia are going to be particularly unpleasant on topics of immigration and race, so if you’re going to engage in these debates, expect to hear differing views that might offend you.

When you say “others” I presume you mean Scott and Sam. None of us have an issue with you. We believe the dominant population should remain dominant which I believe you would agree also. Those who do dehumanise you shouldn’t be given anytime but It’s not us. Unfortunately the west hasn’t protected its identity and until we can define ourselves the left will subvert us by creating the narrative we don’t belong. Unfortunately as a young nation we are susceptible. That was the propaganda pumped into me. The position isn’t controversial. Assimilation worked previously because there was a majority population for immigrants to assimilate into. That is ceasing to exist. This is reality. So let’s stop this nonsense. You are a welcomed individual and an Australian citizen on the same side of this fight.

You can do all that without dehumanising people mate. You are a good guy I've never seen you engaging in any such rhetoric, but there are others in your circle that openly do it. At the end of the day it is what it is, it reflects on whatever else you are associated to. People like me exist within the conservative space in Australia and we are not be subservient cowards. You would find I support almost 💯 of what you are fighting for, but we won't just stand by and be dehumanised, or watch others having that done to them. Again it's your perogative, I'm not telling anyone what to do or say, I'm just saying this is what happens.

Small businesses drowning in costs while Canberra lectures everyone about “fairness.” And now they want the Senate to just wave this budget through like none of that happened. I say “Treason” The Senate is not supposed to be a rubber stamp. It exists to scrutinise governments when public trust starts collapsing. Millions of Australians feel like the social contract has been broken. Work harder. Pay more tax. Own less. And somehow be grateful for it? I’m very against mass migration don’t get me wrong but I think your first line isn’t obvious. There’s a lot on the right that don’t seem to acknowledge citizenship based on skin colour. I think advocating for deportation to a different country than the one you were born in is deeply un Christian and should be condemned.

I’m culturally Christian not sure what you mean by ‘true Christian.’ If Australia was still a majority Christian nation of European heritage like it was founded, your values-only idea might hold. But we’re not anymore. Other religions and peoples are actively reshaping the country, and this purely civic experiment has never held up in history because people are tribal.

Christianity works like that, churches work like that, political parties work like that, and the argument is about whether Australia should work like that too. It’s evidently a concept you accept if you consider yourself a “true Christian”.

Reality is it doesn’t work like that. People are tribal. Christianity is a faith you convert to by belief, it’s universal by design. A nation is a particular people with shared ancestry, history, and institutions built by their forebears. What are the universal values which make you Chinese? Japanese? Indian? Ect.

I’m sure you appreciate and value Christian history and consider yourself a “true Christian” even though you do not share the ethnicity of the founder. A nation can / should work the same way.

Heritage and ancestry are worth being proud of, every people/person have their own story. But I’m not just a social construct or a set of civic values on a passport. Reducing Australian identity to that alone erases the historical and cultural reality of what a nation actually is.
