I like the internet a lot, but also genuinely think we’re not even remotely ready for its impact as a species. The fact that I can watch Morbius whenever and wherever I want is insane. That’s more dopamine than our ancestors got in their entire lives.

It’s not JUST guns and it’s not JUST mental health. America is a unique powder keg of both. You can’t practically get rid of guns in the US, so all that’s left is to push hard on mental healthcare but they won’t do that because they don’t give a shit.

@_counterpoints_ @DuncanMac101 To be clear here, I’m not saying the kid shouldn’t have been punished, but he’s a kid, stupid mistakes and all that. The crowd is understandably annoyed that a black child is being handcuffed and booked for what would likely be a slap on the wrist for a white kid.
