Okay, c’mon now guys. I think the game was overhyped but mid? It was a clear love letter that was passionately crafted to pay homage to its inspirations and just had a few gameplay quirks that didn’t vibe with everyone.

It's time to admit the game was always mid. A visually generic UE5 slop with a normieficated turn-based system and disappointing story that people overhyped because they fell into the trap of easy drama and pretty music.

It's crazy how good the Tenchi OVA is for being just a bog standard harem anime. It's got iconic characters, a very distinct visual style, genuinely interesting scifi concepts and aesthetics, and great animation. I can't imagine a harem anime like that coming out today

Ngl, it’s almost impossible to do this unless you raise your kid in like, a commune or something. As long as they know other kids, they’re going to know what iPhones are and they’re going to want one. Telling them no for 15 years is easier said than done.
