@dRektRL @frenchfryfrodo @WahveyRL That last sentence is the summation of why the goal should stand. There’s no way of knowing, and taking away that really amazing goal scoring opportunity because someone on the OTHER TEAM disconnects is not fair on the attacking team.

@frenchfryfrodo @WahveyRL A player dced while in position to make a play on the ball. We don't know what the result would have been, but we do know the play is completely different without the dc not only for the dced player but teammates. It is just as likely no goal happens as it is that it does happen

For the sake of RL esports and competitive ruling I genuinely DO think that goal should've stood. Even though Fiv3up had the chance to make a play on the ball, its a goal scoring opportunity that still realistically could've resulted in a goal if fiv3up didn't dc. I don't think disconnecting on defense should immediately rule the entire play as saved when it realistically still could've been a goal, whether immediately or on a rebound. Technically this means if you're in a spot where you COULD get scored on but its not guarenteed you can just dc then you just reset from kickoff. Either way that series was a banger and I think it would actually be pretty fun to discuss people's opinions on the ruling so if u disagree we can discuss our opinions and maybe I'm wrong and you can convince me 😄

@dRektRL @WahveyRL flitz was bumping which was very very possible to come off, i would agree with you if five had a free ball and drove off, but ASSUMING he would dodge the bump and hit the ball when he dc's is an awful decision

@WahveyRL It's not dc on defense auto reverts goal, though. If Fiv3Up wasn't in a position to challenge the play then it most likely stands as a goal. But Fiv3Up was directly in the path of the play and clearly dced

Am I bad at Rocket League because I don’t take ranked that seriously? I am still trying to win, but I always get into arguments in ranked when I say "it's not that serious." Most of the time I get told "go play casual."

For the last 7 months @BrycexD_ @SoulDaMeep and myself have been fine tuning a system to combat streamsniping in Rocket League. I'm asking you to spread the word to get it built into rocket league before it's too late. As with most game communities, there's a portion of the playerbase that spends their days and nights intentionally ruining the experience for others. Large groups spend hours over hours in VC's botting, DDOSing and sniping popular pros and content creators. They make reaction compilations of said cc's and pros getting sniped, botted or DDOSsed. Unfortunately it's caused a number of people to move away from the game and into other spaces. 7 months ago Bryce asked me if i had an effective system to combat this. I contacted my good friend Soul and we devised NoSnipe. This plugin effectively hides all information of your lobby besides the map. NoSnipe: Randomizes names of the entire lobby Hides clubs Removes titles Covers Ranks and Reward Level on queue screen Instant leave match to avoid post match podium (Can result in rank shown) Removes queue and Join sounds These work near flawlessly but with the addition of EAC, it will become useless. Please share as much as possible. Getting this into the game would be extremely beneficial to some of these newer and bigger streamers and could prolong the longevity of their interest.

@LastThingNeeded Usually online friendships only last when you are both very passionate about the same thing, usually an esport or game. I feel like once one person isn’t as driven about the game the friendship kinda goes down with the ship. So for a long term, ask them to play/do loads of stuff
