Lots of nuance here. It's not just that SBC "bad guys" didn't release funds for ARITF. Also... why didn't ARITF realize they were set up to fail b/c lack of resources? Why did they trail it out for 2 years as pawns for institutional image? Why didn't they resign in protest? 1/

Question from @Pastakeith on why the ARITF's work didn't get done. Chair responds "We took this work as far as we were allowed to take it." Says the money pledged to cover the cost was never given to the EC. Was supposed to come from NAMB, IMB. #SBC24

Here's what galls me...Bart Barber & abuse reform task force members have KNOWN for over a year about serious concerns re Greg Wills. Why did THEY not speak out about Wills presence on task force? Whole task force tainted. They won't even police their own members. #ThisistheSBC
