You're arguing that language can have multiple meanings in defense of people insisting that a colloquialism negates scientific evidence.

I can come up with a lot more examples on how language is ambiguous, situational, fuzzy and not in adherence to strict scientific categories

@Boi_die @doggygoth It's always felt more to me like people want to play the anime or have a casual version of bw2 world cup. Best version I've heard is a soft reset each region because gyms are level capped, but you still technically have access to your previous box.

Imagine a Pokemon game where you start in Kanto and travel through 6 regions, ending in Kalos. Kanto ->Johto -> Hoenn -> Sinnoh -> Unova -> Kalos After completing each region, you must lock in one Pokemon from that journey. By the time you reach Kalos, you’ll have 6 locked Pokemon… And that becomes your final battle team. Your entire adventure decides your champion squad. The final battle? Professor Oak - who became a professor after completing the Pokedex and catching every Pokemon from every region.

@melinoesfrog I have hundreds of hours in the game in Early Access. I think I have maybe ten since 1.0. The ending for some reason killed my drive to play what was one of my favorite games of the past year.

rlly interesting how the ending of hades 2 makes a good majority of players be done with the game fully. it’s a roguelike lol youre supposed to play after youre done. this phenomena didnt happen with hades bc its ending was better

I am unfortunately writing a video about why the "sound type" is an inherently bad idea in pokemon. And im gonna be forced to deal with explaining sound move mechanics to people in the comments who won't watch past the first 30 seconds before commenting.

@Sharkmare @RosaNagashi Also, to be clear, I'm not trying to argue in favor of grinding or against rare candies in nuzlockes. I was just saying that I think you're intended to be under leveled in the older games, and that doesn't feel like the case in the newer ones.

@Sharkmare @RosaNagashi To be fair, I have been intentionally under leveling since gen 7, so if they've gotten better at balancing modern exp share I probably wouldn't have noticed. I just still don't have much trouble, so I'm assuming they haven't

Go on, fight red, no healing or x items in battle.
Enjoy grinding against level 30-40 wild Pokémon to get an entire team up to level 80.

“How dare you have fun playing a challenge mode” He literally calls out people like you specifically. I’m not watching a guy grind for hours on end. I could watch something else more engaging and interesting instead. I’ve done a couple nuzlockes. Rare candies are goated.

@Sharkmare @RosaNagashi There are some well designed fights in both eras to be fair. The final boss of S/V is really fun since you don't know the types imo.
Personally, I just rotate like 12-15 pokemon to avoid feeling over leveled, so it's not a huge issue.

@Sharkmare @RosaNagashi I don't really think pokemon has gotten much better at making fights more well designed tho. The 'difficulty' in older games being that you're under leveled is boring, but it was a source of difficulty while i feel that the new games don't often have any.

@starostamp If you accidentally draw an extra (say they're stuck together or something) and don't notice until you've seen both, how do you handle that? Is there a specific rule? Genuinely asking. Best guess is shuffle both and redraw, but idk if I've had it come up before.
