New York: it's hot out there, and the power grid is working overtime to keep us cool. Set your AC to 78 degrees, turn off lights/electronics you're not using, and unplug what you can. Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78 degrees rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment. A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let's ease demand — and get through the heat — together.

And that's a wrap on NY Tech Week for me, what an amazing week! If you're a tech founder this is a must attend experience.
45 scheduled events/meetings, hundreds of new connections/friends, amazing dinners with founders that are truly working the future of our world, private clubs, roof parties, yacht parties, playing basketball in MSG on the finals court and that's not even the half of it.
Just absolutely such an amazing week, loved connecting with everyone!

Raising VC money is objectively one of the easier parts of building a successful company.
Building something that matters enough to people and businesses that they're willing to sign a deal is what matters, then you and your teams ability to keep said customers happy follows.

Fundamentally not true.
However at 30 you're raising on your past successes and likelihood to be the person to do what you're proposing, not just the idea itself.
People think VC money is some sort of get rich or overnight success scheme, majority of VC backed companies fail.
