So peep this. BO7 is everything everyone has wanted in a COD game...for years. We've got super limited SBMM, which...still holds up for me. I also only play TDM. Some lobbies I'm the best in. Some I'm not. It's all over the place. Ping is super low as well. We've got, already, 16 maps i believe. And they were arguably the 16 best maps to start with...maybe ever in the history of COD. We're about to get 8 more (and a reworked Christmas themed Highjacked I believe). I still remember paying 10 or 20 for just 5 new maps in a map pack. Now we get them for just owning the game. We've got the most basic and boring group of skins ever. Which sucks, but hey, tac vest and mask fit the aesthetic, and that was peoples complaints. The aim assist was destroyed, not that it's affected me too too much. I had to have a small adjustment period, but I still seem to be doing fine. I'm actually mostly doing better overall than in bo6. And yet...people want to just sit back and think the worst of the companies involved. Look. It's the companies job to make money. That's it. That is any companies primary goal. If you aren't making money, than you cant exist. With that being said everyone thinks and expects the worst, and Treyarch has gone out of its way to try and craft an experience everyone requested. Was the campaign absolutely fucked and abysmal? yes. But the Multiplayer, which is most people's focus btw, is the most on point it's been in years. I don't like zombies so I can't speak on that mode. But for my experience, the MP alone is worth the 70 I paid. It's the MOST fun I've had playing a COD Multiplayer in years. So yes. It's undersold. People are on the hate train. Hell, i was down on it before it came out (I have the tweets to prove it). But they are doing their best to give us everything they can. They still suck for neutering assault rifles tho >.> sincerely...an Infinity Ward guy

An Activision rep has confirmed to us that open matchmaking, with skill minimally considered, is the same in Quick Play and all Open playlists in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 MP. Strict SBMM is active only in the one Standard playlist.

With strict SBMM, there’s no variety with matchmaking, it’s just putting you against players with similar skill level. If you enjoy sbmm, that’s ok. Ur bad.

@Provyy The point of no sbmm is for people to be able to farm montage clips against new/bad players. It's 100% not so folks can improve.
