I think I need to take a break from X and focus more on this other app, for a little while. I need to focus on my relationship with Christ and ask him to guide my thinking and actions. I’m finding myself overwhelmed with heavy emotions.

I'm so relieved for you. Death is defeated in Christ. Now, please find a church that preaches only from God's Word every day. Find other believers who are true to every word of Christ's teaching. Find followers. Be discipled. Be transformed. Don't stop, even if the people in the church fail you. God never will.

@DwarvenDM Thank you. I will take you up on that actually. Feeling a little adrift today. I prayed the Lord’s Prayer this morning and prayed over my son who is terribly sick with Covid. I hope I’m well enough to attend Sunday mass this weekend.

As a Canadian I admit I didn’t know much about Charlie Kirk. After today’s events and after watching so many videos of his passionate debates and speeches, I feel moved to love this man as my brother. Charlie Kirk’s murder has changed me today. I am kneeling before Christ and accepting him into my heart. My condolences to his family and friends and all those who loved him.

I challenge you all, with every fiber of my being and every piece of my heart: please love one another. Whoever you are. Wherever you are. Whatever you believe. Whether you love me, like me, hate me, or are indifferent—I love you. No matter what.

Fair warning: if I see, or even get a whiff of, anyone celebrating or smugly justifying Charlie Kirk's murder, you will be immediately unfriended and blocked on all of my socials, and we will have to reevaluate the nature of our relationship. I try to stay out of political and culture war fighting. I just want to love people on both ends of the ideological spectrum, but I will not associate with anyone who revels in the murder of another human being. I don’t want to do this, so please don’t make me. I implore you to reconsider your perception of the value of life—even if the person whose life it is happens to be someone you hate. All human life is precious: every color, every nation, every gender. Celebrating murder is not love winning.

@YoDanno Elminster has Mystra’s Silver Fire, sure, but Raistlin is a schemer and fights dirty. He defeated Fistandantilus and an entire pantheon of gods by twisting time & fate itself to win. Elminster may fight with power, but Raistlin fights with raw ambition and inevitability.

@YoDanno When TSR was in financial trouble the Blumes used money to buy a needlepoint company from a relative. Because we all know how gamers love to kill dragons while the needlepoint. They eventually gave them to employees as a Christmas bonus.

Actually, WotC is incorrect. Alas, this is NOT the first time there has been D&D and Crocheting. TSR acquired “GreenField Needlewomen” in 1982 (a cousin of Kevin Blume happened to own it at the time). They also released some wild D&D needlepoint. This is true, and not a parody.
