@AbaeInc @QQQ2445 @JelonMusks I’m explaining why the comparison isn’t equivalent. Kobe’s last 8 years started when he was 29-37. LeBron’s 1st Lakers season started after most all-time greats had already finished theirs. That’s not moving the goalposts, that’s acknowledging reality.

@Dwright88146 @QQQ2445 @JelonMusks What😂😂 You just want the parameters to be what you want it to be? Aren't you all the 1s claiming he's elite at 41? "This is age 41" Naw, you don't get that No period is better. Wanna do kobe's 1st 8 years? The middle? Either way Kobe clears

@SebutiMatsome People told me I was crazy when I said the Knicks should trade Brunson and hart first Giannis and sign LeBron as pg. this team would’ve replicated everything this spurs team represented

Everybody remembers the Twin Towers But not everybody understands why they worked. 🏀 It wasn't just because Tim Duncan and David Robinson were both great, It was because they covered each other's weaknesses. Robinson was the athlete. Flying around protecting the rim, running the floor and erasing mistakes. Duncan was the technician. Perfect footwork, Elite positioning and the calmest player on the floor when the game got ugly. They never fought over roles, they trusted them. Then look at the pieces around them. > Bruce Bowen locked up the opponent's best scorer. > Sean Elliott stretched the floor. > Mario Elie brought toughness and championship mentality. > Avery Johnson controlled the tempo and made sure everyone ate. Nobody cared who scored the most, everybody cared who made the winning play that's why the Spurs won their first championship. Now fast forward to today Wemby doesn't need another Wemby, he needs players who make his job easier. Fox controls the pace, Castle defends, Harper creates, Vassell spaces the floor, TH brings physicality and the young bigs (Reed,Brown,Quaintance) add rebounding and rim protection. Different era Same philosophy Championships aren't built by collecting stars. They're built by finding players whose strengths fit together like puzzle pieces. That's the Spurs way and history might just be repeating itself.

Crazy how Bron got immense hate from Laker fans from literally the moment he joined the team. The narrative when he joined was “LeBron is done winning chips, he just came to LA to make movies, we’re the Lakers. He doesn’t deserve to be here if he can’t win us a chip.” - And to be honest, even though they should’ve known that narrative was bs, that’s a completely understandable position. Then he accomplishes that goal and wins a chip in only just his 2nd season. But instead of the Lakers *showing a little bit of gratitude* they immediately move the goal post and say “fuck giving us one title, u gotta win MULTIPLE now or it’s a failure.” 🤦🏾‍♂️ - And this is where it all started to go downhill with the bs. Fast forward to Luka now. Lakers only have the next 3 seasons until Luka can decline his player option and then you’ll have to trade him. So u really only have the next 3 seasons to win not even just one chip but “MULTIPLE” titles like yall tried to claim with Bron. I’d like to see how that works out for u 😂

DeMarcus Cousins says he doesn’t like the way LeBron James was treated LA: “And you know we in this era now that you can’t really, you know speak on his behalf or it’s considered glazing or we paid by Klutch all this goofy sh*t but for the most part, you know, I grow up in the era of watching Bron like create the blueprint for the next guys coming up. So, I think he’s a legend in this game hands down. I just, I don’t know we kind of getting to a point where you know when it comes to our legends in the game, I don’t think they going out gracefully the way they should. I mean, from Melo to how CP was handled. We kind of watching how the Lakers just kind of act like Bron ain’t LeBron, like, you know what I mean? So, Kevin Durant, like, you know? So, I want him to go whenever he’s going to be appreciated and where he’s going to get the flowers he deserves.” (Via @RoadTrippinShow)

DeMarcus Cousins on why Tim Duncan was the hardest player for him to guard in the NBA: “It was either rookie or my second year. And you know you play Timmy enough you kind of pick up on the sh*t that he does. Tim got some tricks to his game that people don’t know about. So one thing he was infamous for is when he’s guarding the big he pulls you down on one shoulder so he can get up and block it. That sh*t used to frustrate. I’m like, “Yo, this a foul.” Yo, like I can’t jump if he’s pulling me down on one shoulder and blocking me. I’m like, “That’s a foul, bro.” So it got to the point it go so frustrating. I’m like, “You know what? I’m about to manhandle Tim.” Like, I just started going through his chest. So, I got maybe two, three buckets in a row. I get to popping it like, “Yeah Tim, you too little out here.” So, you know Tim ain’t really got too much to say. So, I think Tim ran off about a good 14 to 16 like just straight. No extra moves. Back down jump hook, turnaround jumper, face up jab off the bank. I’m just like, god damn. So, by the end of it, you know, he just say good game.” (Via @RoadTrippinShow)

@Dwright88146 @ApexJonesHACKED @TheTruth8240 So you’re saying he deserved to be fired after taking the team to the finals his first season and after having the best record in the east mid season only to be fired. You can’t do better than first seed at mid season.

Max Kellerman says he can see LeBron James joining the Miami Heat: “I can see him going to Miami. They have a great defensive team right now. They have 4 positions nailed down… Just the athletic ability and defense, and really two bigs now in Giannis and Bam… It’s going to be very hard to score on that team. Given LeBron’s age, it’s kind of what he needs. Is other guys picking up the slack defensively on a nightly basis so that in the high leverage moments he can pick and choose when he plays defense. I can see it.” (Via Game Over)

AJ Dybantsa on Darryn Peterson: “Off the court, we’re very cool… But the media, and the NBA gods, kind of built it into a rivalry. I seen somebody say it’s kind of like Tracy McGrady and Kobe, reimagined. I’m a big Tracy guy; he’s a big Kobe guy. So, I guess they’re going to gas that up.” (via @davidaldridgedc)

@SirRobertBuford @KalshiHoops @TKOstorm7 This CBA was inherited from CP3 leadership where their ultimate goal was to get the superstars supermax money. Now we're seeing the repercussions of it. They weren't morons by any means. They knew full well what they were doing. CJ gets the blame for it but we all know the truth.

The NBPA is preparing to fight back hard against the second apron, especially now with the news of Wembanyama passing up on the supermax to help the Spurs try to keep its roster together long-term. “(The CBA) should not put a player in a position where he has to carry the burden in order to keep a team together. A system that does that, we have a problem," per @JaredWeissNBA.

That’s the problem with LeBron. He doesn’t play the game at the highest level. Every coach that wanted to elevate his understanding of the game he tried to get fired, had fired, or left the team. The Blatt firing was one of the weirdest firings I’ve ever seen. They were the one seed. Him thinking he needed to stat pad or do everything got him beat 60 pct of the time in the finals.

Bron leaves and suddenly 50 wins and the 3 seed is a flex. Lmao they said it would be a stain on Bron’s legacy if he became the first all-time great since Elgin to leave the Lakers without hanging a banner.. I’m expecting Luka to be held to that standard.
