im extremely pro-AI but being a 40-year old Larry David impersonator, even i assumed browser automation à la cowork style computer use was dumb / not good enough but then this weekend I saw a friend automate his work and im now convinced its plausible

The saddest thing about all the AI stuff is that it’s rendered the Khan Academy guy’s life’s work totally obsolete

a lot of engineering orgs (Stripe, Ramp, Coinbase) are building internal cloud coding agents we're releasing a fully OSS one today - every company should have the power of cloud agents at their fingertips

I just tried this with ChatGPT 5.4 Thinking, not expecting it to work (doesn't really work in Opus 4.6...and 3-6 months ago, LLMs couldn't really even read a big Excel file) Step 1: Upload an existing financial model Step 2: "Analyze this model like an analyst. Explain what's been happening and what the key assumptions are saying about the future" Step 3: "What assumptions would you push back on?" I found it really, really good. Shockingly good, actually.

I'm actually curious how people make those agent traversing trees visualizations. Anyone got the insider scoop?

Today MotherDuck called me at 8am following up on my new sign up. And I honestly have no idea if it was Eleven Labs or a real person.

Anyone have good recommendations for Wispr Flow alternatives that are really easy to set up but also support typing exclusively in lowercase? I want to use dictation for tweeting, but Wispr Flow doesn't really let you override style, and Codex couldn't figure out how to hack it.

Trying this agency thing and releasing some videos of projects I build. This is called AuthoHoc, it allows users (in this case finance and accounting) to: o Access standard reporting. o Understand the universe of reports they have access to. o Understanding the data glossary and how calculations are made. o Answer their own questions and requests rather than ad hoc reports. Based on golden examples and a schema graph, agents have access to write their own queries if there isn't a report that fits a need. Just trying to solve my own problems. I'm sure millions of companies hate adhoc requests too :)

Can someone explain why you’re buying Mac Minis instead of just getting an EC2 instance and running containers in there? Am I missing something?
