Sasha Rush created these Tensor puzzles to help people learn AI/ML. They're fun and interactive with immediate feedback from cute dogs. Try to solve them and let us know how many dogs you find!

@eshear Really like the puzzle series (GPU + tensor) by @srush_nlp
Fun, interactive, immediate feedback, and now also run in browser: links.marimo.app/tensor-puzzle

@akshaykagrawal @elvecent_not @Stanford @marimo_io notebooks are non-reproducible for more reasons than just dev environments
but marimo is also packaged in nixpkgs if you did just want to use nix:
$ » nix run nixpkgs#marimo -- tutorial dataflow
English

@elvecent_not @Stanford @marimo_io We're bringing ideas from Nix ideas into marimo (cc @DylanMadisetti)

Jupyter notebooks suffer from a reproducibility crisis — just 4% of notebooks on GitHub reproduce.
That's why @Stanford researchers decided the world needed a new open-source Python notebook.
The result was @marimo_io. Learn more in our blog 👇

@flokno_phys @njweadock Did you only do the 1 substitution?
English

@njweadock It uses the structure they report, all I did extra was relaxing the atoms for my DFT setup

Ok friends, after computing 0K harmonic phonons yesterday, I ran some more calculations for room temperature self-consistent phonons in #LK99 (details below).
I doesn't look too bad! No imaginary modes, no weird behavior in all statistics I checked. Not even too anharmonic.

@NerdyAndQuirky Do you have a favourite spot in the sequence? Like digits 762 - 768 are fun

Hello, i am very proud of this video.
If you haven't had a chance to watch it, please give it a shot. If you liked it, consider sharing it with someone who will forget to watch it.

i wanted to improve my memory 30 days later, i found myself evacuating a theatre where i was trying to recite 3,141 digits of pi witness some astounding leaps in logic in my latest video: youtu.be/KAjkicwrD4I

@GOODMeat I saw something about new reservations on Tuesdays? Is that still applicable?

Twitter was fun, not so sure about 𝕏
Keeping this account open, but hit me up on 🟦☁️ (dmad@), 🦣 (dmad@mathstodon), email (whatever @ madisetti . me) or via smoke signal.

@skalskip92 I think JPEG is the compression method to use, not gzip. Extract the Hoffman encodings from the JPEG from DHT and compare
English

I applied gzip to calculate image similarity using Code Interpreter. It doesn't work...
Can someone smarter than me take a look?
Riley Goodside@goodside
this is wild — kNN using a gzip-based distance metric outperforms BERT and other neural methods for OOD sentence classification intuition: 2 texts similar if cat-ing one to the other barely increases gzip size no training, no tuning, no params — this is the entire algorithm:

@luismbat Population vs Scores is also correlated. I'd bet total GDP (which population is then a factor), would give you a nicer plot

@nealagarwal Remember the dating app where there was only one person? singularitydating.com
Those vibes with less desperation
English

@bazalinco @progsdi @Hokoudo @nealagarwal You must have the length of the password in your password. You must also have the current time, and I don't see that here?
English

@progsdi @Hokoudo @nealagarwal I don't know what rule 32 is, but given the message at the bottom has "113" in it, are you sure the rule is not for the password to be 113 characters long?
English

@yoavgo I use use overleaf in a buffer of nvim: github.com/dmadisetti/Air…
English

@NerdyAndQuirky A little nicer UX if the text box auto-focuses opposed to having to tap once for the button then once to start typing.

@AlDatavizguy Definitely thought provoking. Honestly I'd probably create "paraselves" so I could allocate GitHub issues. The true 10x engineer 😂
But I do enjoy how the story emphasizes ~dumb luck~ for the progression of our lives. A different spin on the multiverse
