33% of startups listed on TrustMRR are now for sale.
I had no idea I'd launch a marketplace when I vibe-coded an MRR leaderboard.
A great reminder that you can build anything and somehow land on an opportunity.
@levelsio said it better when he coined FAFO: Fuck Around and Find Out.
Build, then think.
@loops@ricardomacario@dillondotzip@TweetsOfSumit You're closing yourself off from some (many?) customers.
So it may work best for your customers, but maybe they're only your customers in the first place because that pricing model suits them.
Not every business needs to or wants to contact everyone and frequently.
we found if we charged based on sends users didn’t send email that often which impacted deliverability (infrequent large sends in promotional nature is bad) plus the person sending often isn’t the person making purchasing decisions.
we also work cross product with engineering, design, growth and marketing. each of those user groups shouldn’t need to make individual purchasing decisions every time they need to use the product.
anyway, it works well if you actually use all parts of it. we’re a single, walled garden solution that takes away all the pain from email for a single price point.
we found it works better for our customers so that’s why we adopted the price point.
we also don’t charge for (any) sending, including transactional to contacts in your audience so most customers saved when they switch to us.
We are close to paying $2000/mo for @Mailchimp...
I'm looking for an alternative. We have >200k contacts and simply *storing* them is so unbelievably expensive despite using only a fraction of our email budget (we rarely send marketing emails).
Looking at @resend right now. It's cheaper but still scales only with contacts. I'm ok with that but I want to avoid switching again in 2 years.
Any recommendations for big lists that only send emails ~once a month?
@TweetsOfSumit@domwhyte42@Mailchimp@resend@postmarkapp Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think postmarkapp offers any design tool? I mean, mailchimp is build around email marketing and campaigns and all that where postmarkapp is more about delivering the emails, no?
@justkinggg_ If Arteta doesn't like him as a starter, what are u going to do? Force him to stay because some fans like u disagree? No, it makes sense to agree to sell, especially for good $ and as he's pushing for the move. No word that any of the others u mentioned are pushing for a move.
@bazalinco Whose fault is it that ESR wasn’t playing??
he’s scored 10 pl goals before and is already a proven PL talent.
Palmer had done nothing of this sort and no one predicted him to be top5 players last season.. stop talking with hindsight..
Many even said he swapped bench for bench
@justkinggg_ 35m is good money for someone who barely plays.
And pick a better example lol, Palmer was in the top 5 players in the league last season, so proven or not people knew he'd be a star. City didn't want to sell Palmer either. The kid wanted to go to get minutes, just like ESR does.

WTF is wrong with @webflow?
They're forcing me to pay $15,000/year, up from $468!
A 32x price increase overnight!
And they gave me 1 week to decide if I want to upgrade or move the whole Failory site to another CMS!!
@TheAlexBancila@NickKyrgios Nick of all players is too different to be able to use his own experience to say what other players are feeling or thinking in certain moments.
@NickKyrgios Please talk more about what players are feeling in specific, important moments (just got broken serving for the set/match, you got off to a horrible start, you're up as set & a break as the underdog, etc.) - what specifically goes through your mind in those moments.
Cheers.
@alexanderhupfer More sales for each dollar spent means your ads are working better.
Profit takes into account to many other factors which might be in or out of your control and doesn't really tell you anything about whether a campaign, ad or a channel is effective.
On July 1st, Google will delete ALL your old Google Analytics data
You can NOT move it to the new Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
They're deleting almost 20 years of data 🤯
You can however migrate all your data out to simpleanalytics.com who made an import feature for just this
I made a website. it's called "one million checkboxes dot com". it has one million checkboxes on it.
checking a box checks it for everyone.
that's it. have fun!
Elon Musk fired 80% of Twitter (6500 people) and everyone thought that Twitter was doomed.
He was right. Everyone was wrong.
It’s the management masterclass of the decade and every entrepreneur must understand why it worked 🧵:
@BrandonOlin@alexanderhupfer@gilgNYC I know that's what happened here. Clearly something special about the product or the team moreso than just the strategy of making new api features no-code. OP was written as if it's a strategy others should follow to get to 10m but there's obv a lot more to it.
What @gilgNYC did to got from 0 to $10M in two years with Checkout Blocks:
Take a new Shopify API, repackage it as a no-code solution.
New Shopify API = use case validated by Shopify
No-Code solution = large market
