Ubisoft replaced the robotic hands on hip pose for Edward in this specific cutscene. Yes, it's an improvement. However, Edward will always look a bit uncanny in the new content regardless of the stance, mostly because we aren't used to seeing him with robotic movement. Still got a lot of work to do there Ubisoft. Don't stop, thanks.

@BiqA215 @TheHiddenOneAC What's the correlation of being an impostor to having a superhero Kassandra pose?, the problem here is seeing too much of that same animation reused and it's not even the hands on hips Edward uses in one of the cutscenes, heck if you squint hard enough you can see Kassandra.

People tend to forget Edward started his assassins journey as a impostor so the hands on the hips makes more sense immersively but go off. People don’t understand body language in reference to dialogue or character development. Once again another mishap on behalf of the community.

And apart from that trailer, the only mocap scenes I’ve seen are from the original ones. but If they’re already doing new ones, why not just mocap everything?

@ac_landmarks I mean that's the bull shark after all, literally the easiest and your first to harpoon, we need to see the bigger animals first to get a conclusion.

Luke Stephens mentioned that harpooning was super easy in Black Flag Resynced and I agree. There was no tension like there was in the original. It was an easy aim for the most part. Give us a challenge, Ubisoft. Make it a bit more challenging to take down the beasts of the sea.
