@StefanMolyneux There are some durable *laws* of gravity about which we can be relatively certain. But our current *theory* of gravity is incomplete at best. "Quantum gravity" was the most recent attempt at filling the gaps in our theory of gravity, but I haven't heard much about it in a while

@RebelAdmiral @NoFilterSkin Men are expected to be ten times the husbands their grandfathers were for women who aren't interested in even attempting to be one-tenth the wives their grandmothers were.

Dead bedroom discourse is full of men who are doing orders of magnitude more to help at home than their fathers and grandfathers did. Men today are more present, more involved in their kids' lives, and doing more housework than at any time in all of human history, and yet the dead bedrooms persist. For those having a hard time following: no, doing the dishes and bedtime will not get your wife who thinks sex is a chore to finally want to have sex again. Don't listen to women who tell you this.

Moms are not excited for sex just because they’re tired. Many mothers do want sex, want to feel that spark again but foreplay doesn’t start with a boob grab at 10:42 PM. It starts when someone else does bedtime so she can exhale. It starts when the dishes are already done, the counters are wiped, and she didn’t have to ask. It starts when he takes her face in his hands in the kitchen, and looks her in the eyes like she’s a person to be cherished. Foreplay isn’t physical; it’s foresight.

@sio_mrnobody @lowkeyGPT @literaryeric You do realize that Google is just a click away, right? Also, tell your third-grade teacher that you need remedial instruction on the differences between too and to as well as your and you're.

@Dyssinius @lowkeyGPT @literaryeric And this is how I know your full of shit. While "in theory" you are right, it should apply, I challenge you to find such a case.

@lowkeyGPT @literaryeric Of course. While the specific evidence may differ, the fundamental elements of the offense remain the same regardless of the actor.

@Dyssinius @literaryeric Would this apply if an employer paid less that the amount of wages a worker was entitled to? The reverse of this, essentially.

@Marc_Fagel @UnseriousDude_ @literaryeric Why should the employer have to pay a civil attorney (who will either charge by the hour or take ~40% of the damages recovered) to recover their money from this thief? This is exactly what theft statutes are for.

@APepeIsFineToo @upstatefederlst The client still has to make certain decisions: what plea to enter, whether to go to the judge or jury for punishment, whether to testify at trial. And good luck defending someone who can't tell you their side of the story with a reasonable degree of understanding.

@upstatefederlst I thought that was why people had lawyers. They do the understanding and helping of the defense for their client.

@MetamateDaz I just don't see the point, tbh. Maybe this is old-fashioned or w/e, but dating was always just an "audition" for potential marriage. And today's women don't want to be wives. Maybe they want the title, but they consider the actual role as something akin to slavery.

vibe coding is officially dead I had to say it. we thought AI would let us relax and code "on chill", but instead it turned us into architectural bureaucrats. we write strict laws, define rules, limits, and principles. if you don't obsessively review the code agent writes, your project will mutate into a massive landfill of tech debt within a month.

The supreme court has a once in a life time decision to save this country.. The 14th amendment needs to be interrupted differently.. Being born in America country doesnt make you an American.... The number of Mexican flags in California is a perfect example of birth loyalty

@SStricklandMMA Thankfully SCOTUS doesn't take legal advice from someone who thinks they "interrupt" the Constitution or refers to being born in "America country." One too many blows to the head.
