This was apparently hotter take than I’d anticipated lol. I like most of the berry ones but there’s one of them I hate and I can never remember which color it is so it’s always an unpleasant surprise.

@Jonesy_MA We have a subspecialty inpatient service system so as an ID attending sometimes I do consults, sometimes I’m the ward attending on the ID service (basically Hospitalist with an ID flavor), sometimes I’m in clinic and sometimes I do teaching.

Asking for a friend 😅 Any ID Hospitalists out there? AKA hybrid practice of hospital medicine + inpatient ID consults service? Curious 😅

@bredalot @Harriet_Vane_ Yeah that’s fair - I used to routinely have 8 tacos in one sitting as a teen and now eat less than that. But still why the range 3 - 2+1/4? That’s not how ranges work…

@bredalot @Harriet_Vane_ Okay yes I thought that too but then why are there plus signs? And why is the last range 3 - 2.25 when the other ranges have the smaller number first?and why would the range for the biggest cat be smaller than the range for the second biggest?

I also feel that it is worth noting that this is kitten food so the “8.8 lb adult cat” is not only oddly specific but of questionable relevance.

My favorite thing I’ve learned so far as an ID attending is the plural forms of epididymis (epididymides), clitoris (clitorides) and vas deferens (vas deferentia), which respectively sound like a pair of Ancient Greek philosophers and a secret society. #sexmed #STItwitter

Let me clarify - I was misspelling “bacteruria” not “bacteria”. My spelling is questionable but not THAT bad.

That moment when you realized you are a board-certified infectious diseases attending who has spent the past 6.5 years writing the word “bacturia” in charts.
