Black History Month is a time to recognize the lived, shared experience of all Black folks who have fundamentally shaped, challenged, and ultimately strengthened America. It’s about taking an unvarnished look at the past so that we can create a better future. As we mark 100 years of celebrating Black history, let’s honor the sacrifices of the leaders who came before us, and recommit ourselves to continuing their work.

More than 16 million Americans are at risk of losing their health care because Republicans in Congress are rushing to pass a bill that would cut federal funding for Medicaid and weaken the Affordable Care Act.
If the House passes this bill, it will increase costs and hurt working class families for generations to come. Call your representative today and tell them to vote no on this bill.

@DVNJr If this was going to be done. Then do it while a person is living. Don't do it when they're no longer living.
An old saying, "Let me smell the flowers while I'm still living."
Bottom line if you wanted to rectify anything. It should've been done while Pete Rose was living!!

Teachers & Student… in this case family.
Press work X Short Area breaks X Board Work
While you’re working to be the best you should also focus on being the most. The most prepared, the most thorough… the most efficient. It’s the minute details that lead the biggest jumps. Take step by step progressions of each skill until they become second nature.

Obama just said what everyone’s thinking but too many are afraid to admit: If he had done even a fraction of what Trump’s doing—blacklisting press, punishing dissent, targeting student protestors—the outrage would’ve been deafening.
But now? Silence. Because when the Constitution gets torched by someone in your tribe, suddenly principles are optional.
This isn’t about policy anymore—it’s about power unchecked and hypocrisy on full display.

Breaking News: The NCAA announced today that athletes who competed at JUCO, NAIA, or other non-NCAA schools and would have exhausted eligibility after 2024-25 can play in 2025-26—except those whose only non-NCAA season was in 2020-21, per NCAA Guidance.

I didn’t want to have to address this. I wouldn’t have, either, had it not gone viral. Now I have no choice. @FirstTake first at 10am EST. Then….The Stephen A. Smith Show on YouTube! Some things just have to be said.

From our earliest days, Black history has always been American history – and Black folks have profoundly shaped our American culture through music, art, literature, sports, and beyond. One month a year is not sufficient to celebrate the power of the movements and the people who have fought for the rights we enjoy today. That’s something that we have to do each and every day, as we strive to live up to their example and make sure our children and grandchildren remember their stories.
