Trying to cancel public hospital appt. Reminder text has a number that doesn't work and no reply facility (even though it says text 'cancel'). I made the effort to find the landline and call. Others may not. With the volume of no-shows, you'd imagine it should be easier.

@GetTheFabulous It's sly as hell. I went through the quizzes the other day to be asked to pay 89p for the results, only to find (after a bit of digging) that this had sneakily signed me up for their 'premium' service that would auto renew at £35ish a month. Quickly cancelled and all deleted.

I went to Rome on a Wednesday morning n April, to cover Pope Francis’s funeral on the Saturday and be home Sunday. Instead, I had a stroke on the Friday. I couldn’t do anything. Three months later, I finally slept in my own bed, albeit temporarily. It felt, well, miraculous.
